A truly wonderful traveller's experience. The accommodation was excellent, of the highest quality and extremely comfortable with all the "little extras" in place; the location superb with lovely walks for our dog (who was made to feel equally special); the food absolutely delicious and our hosts, Angela and Jimmy, could not have been more welcoming and friendly if they had...

My husband and I stayed here for one night on our NorthCoast 500 trip. We hadn't booked in advance and Angela was very welcoming. Our room was stunning with large dressing area and bathroom with double shower and separate bath. Having arrived late evening, tired and hungry Angela made us a beautiful meal which we enjoyed with other guests. We...

Forget staying anywhere else in Tongue. This guesthouse is brilliant. Spotlessly clean, comfortable, well furnished, quiet, and with fantastic hosts. This place cannot be faulted, and is highly recommended. We travelled from Thurso and were starting to be concerned that accommodation out this way would not be great, so we were absolutely delighted to find this first class guest house.

Breakfast was first class and the price reasonable. So if you are planning to stay at Tongue this is the place to be.We stayed at 22 different guest houses...

we had a nice 2 nights here and its well placed for visits to the local coastal area. Our room/suite was excellent with all you could ask for. Local restaurants are more or less next door so no evening driving - The breakfast was the biggest & best of our 7 nights in Scotland.

You know that experience when you phone up a guest house and find yourself in conversation with someone as if you've known each other all your lives? That's Angela, and always a good sign for a great place to stay. I arrived in Tongue on the Friday Only bus from Lairg and with the late hour of my arrival Angela...

Centrally located in the village between the two hotels. Superbly appointed accommodation and very welcoming and helpful owner. Have visited Tongue several times but this is the first time staying at this guesthouse and we were not disappointed. Very comfortable stay and the freshly cooked breakfast was a delight. Definitely would return on next visit to the area.
