I wish this was my house - our room (number 4) was stunning - tastefully decorated, clean and large, with an ensuite with red rolltop bath. Bed very comfortable and a separate sitting area topped off our stay. The downstairs lounge is great - again tastefully furnished and makes your stay even more comfy, with the fire on in the...

IT WAS A FANTASTIC STAY. lOVELY HOST AND HOSTESS AND GORGEOUS LOCATION. The dinner to die for.....maybe a bit more expensive rooms than accustomed to on the EAST COAST but very well looked after.

Cruachan was perfect for us, and perfectly situated although a good 'view' would have been the icing on the cake (although I'm not complaining about the heather-covered hillside!). We were very impressed by the mix of contemporary and traditional decoration and furniture. The bedrooms were excellent and well appointed, the bathrooms in particular. Food was delicious, and the welcome received...

Have been staying here many years now, and it never fails to delight. Rooms are excellent (though they do differ), breakfasts are excellent, evening meals wonderful and the place really has charm.

We were taking a month to tour Scotland and stayed in a number of hotels, guest houses and B&B's. By luck we decided to stay here for three days. It was outstandingly the best place we found in Scotland. There is no where else locally to eat, but do not worry, you will go to bed fat, full and very...

Hubby and I stayed for 2 nights at the end of September. Our room was beautiful, a very comfy large double bed and the bathroom had a gorgeous roll-top bath! We were given a friendly welcome with a cup of tea and biccies. The food here is fabulous - we certainly never expected to have a choice of meals! Recommend...

Despite having booked a "deluxe double" upstairs, we found ourselves shoehorned into a damp ground floor "small twin", as the deluxe double was apparently being refurbished. I suspect the real reason was that whoever had arrived before us & was staying more than one night had been shown the "small twin" & had objected, so it turned into a case...

The previous Trip Advisor Reviews had convinced us that this was a great place to spend a night on our brief trip around the Highlands. Situated in Stoer just North of Lochinver, the B and B is set in a wonderful part of Scotland. Reached by single track roads (not a problem and in fact driving so carefully allows greater...

In the middle of "nowhere" is this really great bed and breakfast lodge. We had a great overnight stay in a comfortable and very clean house, great food and great bedrooms. Each bedroom had its own bathroom. The menu is wonderful, diverse and delectable. They try to use only local food for their meals. Sutherland County is a great place...

The surrounding area of Lochinver and district is one of outstanding natural beauty and well worth the visit. Mr Campbell is a pleasant host who can give good advice on walks and places to visit in the area. In fact It felt like we had known him all our lives. We stayed in the larger room (number 4) which met...
