The building is quite old, some updating has been done but even some of the updated fixtures are old, the tub didn't drain well while showering so we ended up standing in several inches of water. On the other hand the suite was quite spacious,...More
Really enjoyed our stay in the two bedroom suite. We found the facilities clean in spite of renovations and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Kids loved the pool! Great selection for the complimentary breakfast as well, all items were fresh and delicious.
Slightly dated rooms with a decent television and good Wi-Fi. The rooms could use a facelift but unfortunately are in the process of being converted to apartments so in a year it probably won't even be the Econo Lodge anymore. So take the opportunity to...More
The room was booked for two nights by our friends who we were travelling with. As soon as we entered the hallway i wanted to turn around and check out. The carpets were filthy and the walls dingy. Inside the room I couldn't believe it....More

I would recommend the Pacific Coach Lines or renting a vehicle in Vancouver and take the ferry over to Swartz Bay. I find most people who are visiting Victoria like the freedom of having a car to see more of the island. There is public transportation, however, this may limit you to specific place you would like to visit while you are on the Island. We hope you have a fantastic cruise! We look forward to your visit with us. Safe journeys, Econo Lodge Inn & Suites, Victoria, BC.
