We had a 1 night stay at Airenlea to break our journey on the long trip up to Aberdeen. The accommodation was excellent, very clean and nicely furnished. The owner was welcoming and provided us with a very tasty breakfast. We were able to park our car outside the front door but parking is rather restricted. The Airenlea is within...

Had a nice stay very clean rooms Walkable to the centre of Jedburgh which is a very nice town but very quiet impressed by some of the museums as they were free to enter which is rare these days if I had one reservation about the B&B is that we could not gain access to after 4pm yet we had...

We stayed for one night and were comfortable and slept well. The rooms are well equipped inc colour coded towels for the guests and a good shower in one room, a private bathroom across the corridor for the other. The three rooms have towelling dressing gowns and hair dryers and free BT wifi. It has high quality fittings and crockery...

Hello Martin. Thank you for your kind review. We are too small to take credit or debit cards. If you take into consideration the fees we would need to pay on top of the large slice of commission that Booking.com take then it's not worth our while. If more of our guests were to book direct from our own website...

Arrived, wet and tired, after some tough walking, at 3.00pm to be sent away as rooms are not available until 4.00pm. This seemed a little harsh at a B&B which purports to welcome walkers. I was allowed to leave my backpack on the porch as I limped back across the bridge into town to find a cup of tea. The...

I'm sorry that you felt that you had to write this review. I recall that you arrived a lot earlier than 3pm. Had you read our terms and conditions when you booked then you would have noted that our check in times are from 4pm. We have welcomed lots of walkers to our property over the years and the majority...

Very welcoming hosts. Extremely clean and spacious rooms. Breakfast was great as well. This B and B is just a short walk away from the centre of the village. Rooms are very quiet. Met lovely people at breakfast time.

Having cycled from Lands End on my charity event Alz1300. My support team & myself were warmly welcomed by Amanda. The rooms were very clean & well equipped. The decor was of the highest standard that puts many 4-5* hotels to shame. The local information for our evening meal was perfect & before leaving Amanda filled us up with a...

This B&B was fantastic. It is well located, near the little bridge that crosses the stream. The room was very pretty and cozy, with nice views of the village and the abey. The best thing for me was the bathroom. It was a private bathroom with a bath tub and a shower. All immaculate clean and new. After a long...

Our group of two couples were imidiately welcomed by Amanda our host, we had arrived by motorbikes (slightly damp) and she showed us where to safely park our bikes out of sight at the side of the house. Our rooms were immaculate, tastefully decorated and we inquired if they had just fitted new en-suit bathrooms, no was the answer but...

I stayed here for one night whilst walking the St. Cuthberts Way. Overall a really nice place. Very friendly and helpful hostess in Amanda. My only slight reservation was the bed. For a B&B of this overall standard it seemed to be a cheap mattress, and wasn't particularly comfortable.
