In July 2015 we as a family stayed with Mrs Adair and I can only say it was "Home from Home". The purpose of our trip was family and Portaferry Gala. We were lucky as we managed to get a cancellation to stay at Mrs Adair. i would recommend everyone to stay and enjoy a home from home visit with Mrs Adair

It was like going back to the 1950s in a good way, so lovely and quaint and so clean . The lady of the house was very welcoming but like someone that would take no nonsense either. Breakfast very good and some potato bread to top it off. Very reasonably prices. Why are there no b&b signs in Northern Ireland . It would be a good help if there was. !!

We stayed here for the 1st time last October. We only stayed one night and hated to leave. Our stay here was part of 4night/4 different Inns trip. This was was our very favorite place. First off Columbus Day Weekend is not such a big deal in Oklahoma as it is in New England. I quickly found that trying to stay one night anywhere was difficult let alone place as nice as this; but they found us a room (Huntington) that had one night open and we were able to enjoy it if only for a short time, and hated to leave. I loved walking the grounds all alone on a brisk morning with a hot cup of coffee in my hand, I had "a moment". Food was awesome, and the Inn itself is just beautiful, but I most loved the grounds and property it sits on. We are headed back this fall with no other destination than Adair Inn; 3 nights!!! It is 105 here today and we are stoked to be in headed back to cool morings in those beautiful White Mountains. Now, if I can only get Barry to take me fly fishing.....what say you Barry? :) Mick and Carla Fenn Grove, OK

tomorrow we hope to return to Mrs Adairs wonderful b&b...we read the reviews last year & were not surprised to find a wonderfully clean, warm & charming home from home. apologies for not updating last year to encourage all those who have reviewed Adairs but as returning guests we hope this says it all! Portaferry is a great town especially during festival and regatta weeks along with Strangford across the pond! Ensure you all try the very good Portaferry Sailing Club, open to all visitors for great food Friday thru Sunday. Chef does wonders with fish!
