It is located in the old town but very close to surrounding road, so you can park ouside in public parking lot without fee. Nice small hotel with good restaurant. But pictures are more beautiful than rooms in reality. Medium sized clean room with good beds and shiny white bed sheet. Tv, ok wifi. Rooms with some historic character. A/c... More

Previously stayed in the parador and decided to give this a go. Beautiful building. Clean and characterful accommodation. Parking available over the road. Excellent food, service and value in the restaurant. Chose wine from their own bodega. Really lovely.

This typically Spanish hotel is located in the old town of Olite. The hotel is perfectly located to visit the beautiful town. The rooms are comfortable and ours overlooked the palace. There is plenty of free parking nearby in a public car park, which we could see from our room.Breakfast was good. Would recommend for a stay here.

Olite is a beautiful small medieval town with a Disney style former royal palace and some beautiful old churches, town square and narrow streets with lots of shops for you to meander in the shade. The Hotel Merindad de Olite is a very homely boutique hotel, situated just 2-3 minutes from all the main places of interest. There are about... More

Local rooms in a great location. In the old part but can drive up to, to drop cases off. Plenty of parking near by. Had hoped to eat in the downstairs wine bar but shut on the Sunday we stayed. Whole area lovely. Breakfast included - good quality.

My partner and I stayed here while walking the Camino Frances. We had gotten a little lost and had a long day of walking. It was a little tricky finding the hotel but once we found it, we thought "how easy!" How did we miss it?! We were checked in quickly and collapsed in our room! Our room was perfect!... More

We have stayed here lot's of times before but not in the last 2 years and decided to travel back up from Valencia so needed an overnight stop this August. Since we last stayed they have added a wine bar, Brilliant you can try the local wines of Olite and Navarra and not break the bank. The restaurant was very... More

This is such a fantastic little hotel. We stayed and ate there both tapas in the afternoon on arrival along with the evening meal, and bith were fantasic. Next day again the breakfast was probably the best of the holiday. Staff were brilliant - albeit little english spoken but this didnt really matter. They have taken the time to have... More

We picked this hotel because of its ratings plus the Parador was full. Somewhat difficult to find. Lugged our suitcases to what looked like the front door but discovered the entrance around the block inside the town walls. The glass door entrance on the ground floor is also the entrance for the restaurant/bar/enoteca. There is no elevator, not an issue... More

Having traveled a bit, we have stayed in rented flats, cottages, big hotels, small hostels, and are generally pretty satisfied - not too hard to please, maybe, but if value is there, we're OK. Honestly, the Hotel Merindad is what I've always wanted to find Beautiful, small, "quaint" but with all the features you want An added attraction is the... More
