Small, but clean and quaint hotel in the center of Baiona. The staff is kind and helpful and there are plenty of restaurants all around to choose from. Walking distance to the water as well. It can get loud at night given that you're in the center, but that is to be expected.
This hotel is run by Ana María, the granddaughter of Angel Fernández "Vernet", the best stone craftsman of Baiona with extraordinary talent that became a legend in Galicia. Part of his legacy can be seen in many corners of Baiona where he left very important works such as the caravel carved monolith in Pedro de Castro square, a beautiful cruceiro, a bust at Virgen de la Roca site, various precious sculptures in the cemetery and, of course, the three fantastic caravels (do not miss the wind that fills the sails) on the main facade of the hotel. A pride to be served by the descendants of Angelito "Vernet", a name always deserved respect by all professionals stonework during the second half of last century.…
