On our way from Spain to France, we ended up in this hotel. The welcome was very friendly and helpful. We were the only guests and got the room with the big terrace. We have sit there for a long time, enjoying the view and the sunshine. The room was immaculate clean and the bathroom too. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was perfect and we absolutely can recommend this hotel. It is not too big and the location is very nice. Opposite you can watch the children who are horseriding.

we spent 2 nights here on a cycling tour of the river Ebro and were delighted with both the level of service and the amazing food that we enjoyed . The owner and his wife were great hosts and on one of the nights they joined us for drinks along with the chef who had prepared our dinner. The village is charming and very quiet and the hotel is just outside town . If you are ever in the area go and have dinner there, you will not be disappointed !!

This place is about 8km outside of Tortosa which makes it a good base to visit the delta of the Ebre, the city of Tortosa or cycling up the valley on the old railway tracks. This is a very comfortable rural hotel that deserves all the awards it received. The breakfasts and evening meals are typical catalan cuisine. Although the owners don't speak English, their attention and warmth are outstanding. Warning: this is not a budget place but excellent price / quality ratio nevertheless.

A delightfully renovated former olive mill tastefully decorated four room hotel with views to the mountains over avenues of olive trees. Run by a friendly and attentive couple the rooms are spotlessly clean, and beautifully designed and renovated We arrived at 13:55 and enquired if lunch was still on and although it was late we were cooked a freshly made onion soup which set us up till Dinner time, which was from a fixed price menu with three choices all reasonably priced, we had Sea bass which was cooked to perfection. I can easily recommend this very reasonably priced gem of a hotel, to anyone who craves good old fashioned service and standards. Ps the House red was very good too.

We spent 2 nights at this hotel on a cycle holiday along the River Ebro. I'm afraid it was a rather disappointing experience. Things didn't start well when we arrived (hot and tired after a long day) to find the front door shut and locked and no bell or knocker... We had to bang on the door to get any attention. Our room was comfortable with a decent bathroom. However the bath itself is quite small, why not provide baths of a decent size rather than the gimmick of hydro massage water jets? On the day we arrived there was a very noisy motor cross event on a track close to the hotel. It was very noisy even with the windows closed. We were told that the owner's daughter, Ares is the key figure here - don't believe it. In my opinion she is next to useless and spends more time rearranging her hair than focusing on the needs of her customers. Her father and mother are much more helpful and at least have some idea about running a hotel. We found the meals here to be very disappointing, loads of tomato bread if that's what you like. Generally the food was of disappointing quality, a real shame. If you need a hotel in this area I suggest you look elsewhere.
