A perfect stay in a small Castilian castle. Great views across the borderlands of the Castilian plains in a charming small town. The weather was cold, rainy and windy the weekend we were there: the Parador was the perfect place to stay warm, with the usual level of comfort you´d expect, the bar in the Tower charming and the restaurant,...

Once again the room was as expected with all of the usual facilities. Unfortunately this Hotel did not have sufficient seating for guests awaiting entry to the dining room for dinner and we were told to sit outside and wait, not acceptable, the ladies were cold and a fuss ensued, which was soon sorted, but didn't need the aggravation. Dinner...

Pretty Parador – don't miss the wooden ceiling in the old tower! – with excellent accommodation and service, good restaurant as well. The Parador though is situated in an obviously run-down town which shows vivid signs of the recent financial crisis.

A place to remember if you like castles. Amazingly decorated accordingly to the theme. Beautiful ballroom, sitting areas and restaurant. Really enjoyed our tapas in the outdoors cafe. Walking distance from a charming town. Staff very friendly and helpful! Would love to stay there again!

On arriving at this hotel our classic car choose that moment to break down. The reception manager was so helpful and charming we were made to feel relaxed and at ease. The car repaired and once again with the help of the staff we were able to get it back to the hotel. Our room was large, cool& clean with...

Although requiring a slight diversion from our original route, the Parador de Benavente provided a memorable experience, in it's architecture, room facilities and restaurant quality and service. Staff were friendly and efficient and keen to show the unique characteristics of the restored castle.

Historic building in great location - good views and gentle strolls. Rooms massive, public areas beautiful, staff great and cuisine very good. Buffet breakfast choice very good. Made use of outdoor pool.

You pay for the beautiful castle and the large room. (130 euro as a promotion) But the beds are not good (blanket in a pillow instead of down comforters), the water of the swimming pool very cold. The personal speaks hardly English or French and is not cooperative. They even didn't ask how our stay was when we left.

This is a nce hotel in an old castle. The room was comfortable and spacious and the breakfast was fine. The pool was nice and refreshing. The hotel is walking distance from town, its sights and the tapas quarter. The setting alone is already worth the stay.
