This place is a nice Posada at a great location. It's next to the Camino where all the wanderers to Santiago de Compostella pass by. It's located just outside the village but only a few minutes by foot to get there. The Posada has their own parking lot which is very rare in Santillana. The rooms are nice and the...

A very relaxing place to stay, it's just on the edge of the beautiful town of Santillana and has parking on site which is unusual for hotels in this pedestrianised town. The room was comfortable and tastefully decorated in a simple, rustic style. The Spanish couple running the Inn were welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately breakfast was really not worth getting...

A cute little place, comfortable, clean and modest, that is very close to old town. Setting overlooks some fields and cows. Owners were pleasant, even though all of our language skills were lacking on both sides. The breakfast is a bit limited- but then remembering what it cost, I can't fault them. Wifi worked ok in our room. GPS was...

We had a nice stay here and couldn't fault the cleanliness or the friendliness of the hosts. It was traditionally and well furnished with very modern bathrooms. The rooms were quite spacious and the dining room laid for breakfast really nicely every morning. The house was in a lovely historical village with lots of restaurants and bars close by. The...

This accommodation has received its rave reviews and is deserving of much of what has been said. It is very nicely appointed. Our room, although a bit small, was quaint and charming with simple attractive furnishings. The small bathroom was very modern and overall we thought the place was very good. Its location is unbeatable with easy access to the...

What a beautiful little hotel! We booked this at the last minute as we were travelling to Santander to catch a ferry. Because we had a roof box the parking in all the hotels we tried in Santander was not accessible so we looked elsewhere. We would not hesitate to come back. The rooms are simple, but beautifully decorated -...

My partner and Ibstayed here with his cousin and her husband for three nights recently. As other reviewers have noted, this establishment is well run, immaculately kept and the owners were very charming and knowledgable about the surrounding area. Fidel and his wife Leo made our stay extra special. On our last night we decided to eat alfresco and Fidel...

With all of the great reviews on TA, we may have set our hopes too high. Really, where are the 5 stars coming from??? At best a 3.5. As noted, the location is fantastic, the rooms were clean, the view was delightful and the bathroom had a great shower. However, the room was so tiny -- easily the smallest hotel...

Spent four nights at this perfect location in Santillana del Mar, with abundant parking and pastoral vistas of the village and farmland. Our upstairs room had a lovely view and was well-arranged; sheets and bedding were especially comfortable. Delicious continental breakfast, friendly staff, very helpful host & hostess. Extremely clean and well-cared for...property showed great pride of ownership (design, decor,...

We stayed here for one night in July for around 59euro. This is a beautiful guesthouse, in a perfect location in Santillana del Mar. I would fully recommend it to anyone staying there. The room was lovely with wooden beams across the ceiling. The bathroom is small, although I found this in all the accomodation that we stayed in in...
