This was my 7th visit to this excellent hotel. It has a very relaxed atmosphere and wonderful friendly staff. It is situated in the traffic free centre of the village and is easy walking distance to several good restaurants. Highly recommended.

What a dream stay!! Beautiful building with a luxurious open area in the middle with palm trees, a lovely fountain and plenty of places to sit and relax. Incredible breakfast with fresh orange juice and delicious cheeses, meats, pastries and more. Large room with a nice shower and fluffy robes. Friendly and accommodating staff. Highly recommend this hotel!

Lovely hotel set in a nice quiet location. Staff are very nice and nothing is too much trouble. rooms are big and lovely and clean. Our jaws were dropping as we were led to our room in this building that dates to the 16th century. An amazing room with charming nooks and crannies and an indoor balcony. You feel privileged just to be able to explore such a place. Excellent buffet breakfast.

We stayed here a couple of years ago, and have spoken of it often since, so when the chance came to stay again we jumped at it. At this hotel it soon feels as though you are in the lovely home of dear friends, for they do everything in their power to make you happy and at ease. It is... More

We had a 10 night stay here in February. It's a great hotel with a lovely feel to it. Built, I don't know how long ago, around a lovely central courtyard with palm trees and very comfortable chairs and recliners. The rooms are all different. There is nothing 'standardised' except perhaps the quality and attentiveness of the staff which was... More

Those first few moments when you arrive at a new hotel speak volumes and we knew from our welcome from the receptionist and the glimpse of the beautiful inner courtyard that we had arrived somewhere special. Our room was lovely, comfortable and spacious and the bathroom was great with fabulous shower. Although the bar area isn't manned all the time,... More

It was a pleasure to spend a week at La Quinta Roja in the middle of January. We were charmed by the situation in the picturesque village square, opposite a 17th century convent and other old and beautifully maintained buildings. There is no traffic in the square, so it was quiet and peaceful at night. There is a pavement café... More

This hotel is the 17th century former palace of a marquis, built on the grand scale round a courtyard. Rooms are huge and kitted out in modern style with art and antiques too. Local and traditional produce used where possible for the excellent breakfasts.

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. A beautiful old building, lovingly restored. Chairs everywhere to chill out and relax in the road style interior, a terrace on the roof with sauna and hot tub and a couple of loungers. Staff friendly and helpful but not intrusive. Tends to be for the more mature person, certainly no... More
