We stayed here in February 2012 and had a suite overlooking the swimming pool. The room was very large, had a Jacuzzi bath in the bed room and separate bathroom with a shower. The bath room could be up dated. The problem with the rooms facing the dining room and pool is they can be noisy. The first and last...

We chose this hotel for our first holiday with our 5 month old baby. We wanted to avoid the super touristy spots in Tenerife as it is not our style at all but we wanted good service and good location. Hotel San Roque was perfect!! Centrally located and only 1 min from the beautiful sea and volcano pools. The rooms...

I stayed a week together with my wife and son of 5 months. We picked the hotel based on the fact that it was as far as possible from the all-inclusive complexes in he south that you usually take your family to. Might be seen as a bit brave if not selfish considering the night-habits of small children. Nevertheless, the...

We stayed Christmas week and had packed our hiking boots. They were needed to work off the super breakfasts and splendid evening meals. Weather in Tenerife really is special around this time of year and so was the hotel. We had a Duplex room with 2 tv's, internet and DVD. The wood floors are a work of art. Understated elegance....

Stayed for a few nights in November. Staff couldn't do enough. Very relaxed atmosphere. Just what you want from a boutique hotel. Situated in the old town it's an oasis of delight with lots of lovely restaurants nearby. Perfect place for a couple.

Last on Tenerife more than 30 years ago on a cheap sun-holiday. This time, and at an advanced age, more luxury and quiet is needed. San Roque provides both. Very professional and cheery staff attend to your every want, whilst being unobtrusive. Being welcomed by Dominique and shown round the hotel, it is clear that he takes a lot of...

Delightful. A small but beautifully decorated hotel with interesting architecture, Personal and warm service and great food - modern and varied. For us it lives up to its reputation and we will happily come back, despite hardly, and unusually for Tenerife, seeing the sun this week! Rooms are spacious (Room 119 Junior Suite) and sunbathing areas on the roof or...

We'd never been to Tenerife, and we took a chance on the hotel's one-week package. It was the best decision we could have made. The San Roque has a lovely combination of modern style in an historic Spanish villa - and is in a great location. We enjoyed wandering the narrow lanes of Garachico, having a glass of wine in...

Hotel San Roque is clearly a labour of love by a family knowledgable about design. We kept discovering new objects to admire throughout our time there. Beautiful design is sometimes not the most comfortable but Hoffman's bar was incredibly comfortable, full of books and games that added value to our experience. The stairs in our duplex room were wide and...

A real treasure in Tenerife, which standards are usually closer to gigantic all inclusive resorts than historically charming boutique hotels. Absolutely well restored mansion, a lot of style for a quiet retreat away from the tourist industry in other seashore cities of the island. Ideally located to visit the various highlights of the island, although a bit too far from...
