El Guia is a small hotel with restaurant located in the center of Soller, next to the train station, and very close to the main square. With a long history (since 1925), it is one of the oldest establishments in Mallorca. Its physiognomy retains all the character and charm of the most traditional architecture of the island. Although without large facilities, it offers the visitor the possibility of staying in a genuine hotel, very Mallorcan, and especially careful in all its aspects. Because of all this, it is a very welcoming place. It has 24 double rooms with private bathroom and air conditioning, most of them with beautiful views of the Serra de Tramuntana. Worth noting, the hotel restaurant. Recommended and recognized already by grandparents, children and grandchildren. Classic cut, simple, elaborately prepared cuisine with native ingredients. It is mentioned in many publications, including the Michelin Guide. The location is ideal for hiking enthusiasts. The valley of Soller and its surroundings is privileged place for the beauty of its places, by the way, recently declared by the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Hotel with a personal touch. Very good location. Nice staff, big room with a view, very nice badroom. We also liked the spa room - just a sauna and a jaquizzi. The restaurant is in a beautiful room. The food is very oldschool. Soller is wonderful.

Do not use the hot tub unless you can securely lock the door and I mean double lock it. Otherwise someone who works there will force themselves in without knocking and start demanding to know if you have booked it for private use which we had while you are sat in it naked.

Dear Stanleycromo, Only with the feedback of our guests we are able to improve our services, as we wish that all our guests feel as comfortable as possible. Unfortunately it seems you were not satisfied and we all are truly sorry. We remember you as a lovely couple you are and we asked you a couple of times if your stay was good and the answer was always positive. However, that changes after the situation you explained and let me say once again, you are totally right. The lady made a mistake and I beg your perdon for that. Please, let me say that our house is full of fresh oranges from the gardens every morning. That's why here, at El Guía, we do our very best to create a truly unique and enjoyable stay. Hence, when something goes wrong we take seriously all constructive feedback and I do look forward to have the change to wellcome you again. With renewed apologies, Lluis O

We had stayed at the hotel El Guia several times in the past, but not for some time, and we were very pleasantly surprised with all the changes that had taken place since our last visit. The hotel has been quite extensively modernised, but still maintained that traditional

Dear client, sorry for the delay in aswering! The hotel + restaurant have been taken over since a few months, the waiter you are talking about was the owner and is not working here anymore. The hotel rooms have been renovated, soon we will put new pictures online. The famous restaurant remains the same though with its' delicious Majorcan dishes. Kind regards, Reception Hotel El Guia.
