We are staying at this hotel at present and really enjoying the staff are friendly professional and very helpful we spoke to the lovely Marianna today to arrange our blessing in August she was so helpful humorous and friendly it was a joy to chat with her.
The hotel has a great location overlooking the harbour we watched the sun set in the beautiful saloon at the front of the hotel.
My sister had a nasty fall when we were out she hurt her knees and arm and they were bleeding I got her back to the hotel
Mar was on reception and quickly got the first aid Kit out to await me in treating her cuts nothing was too much trouble.
Our room was lovely it has a good size balcony overlooking the beautiful pool and the harbour.
The hotel is spotless the staff are hardworking and nothing is to much trouble.

We are hoping to return in August for our party and look forward to visiting this charming hotel with delightful staff.

Pluses: location, room size, sea views, roof top bar, pool
Minuses: parking is charged, room servicing variable and catering average

We stayed 6 nights at the Eden Soller in August 2023, half board – 2 adults, 2 teenagers. Overall we had a good time and would recommend it. The location is excellent, right in the middle of the bay, you are 2 minutes walk from the beach or the pool is also lovely and set above the beach so also away from the crowds.

We went half board, as the majority of guests seem to. There is a wide selection of food on the breakfast/dinner buffet and mostly good quality. It’s worth noting though that half board does not include any drink allowance so wine (from c.20 euros/bottle), soft drinks and water (2 euros 70 for a half litre bottle) are all charged extra. Also food tends to run down towards the end of the slot so much better to go early. Coffee not great in our view (machine or canister) so we tended to buy coffee elsewhere mid-morning.

Superior rooms are spacious and the sea view is worth paying for in our opinion given the wide vista across the bay and balcony to enjoy it from. Housekeeping is a bit hit and miss though. Our room wasn’t cleaned properly every day and one day the bed was made but cups/glasses not changed for clean ones and we had to ask for the shower gel to be replenished. There is a kettle and an assortment of teas in the room, but no coffee or milk sachets. There was also no clothes iron in the room.

One other point to be aware of is parking – whilst the website says under FAQs that the hotel has private parking they fail to mention that it is limited (no spaces available when we arrived) and that they charge (10 euros per day). The car parking near the hotel is also restricted given the location so most people end up parking in the public car park up the street which charges 8 euros per day – an unexpected expense from our perspective. Also the car needs to be moved every 48 hours.

This is a lovely place to stay. The location is perfect, right on the beach and a short stroll to the middle of the port. We found it to be extremely clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful. The rooftop bar is a great place in the evening for drinks, nice music and atmosphere and of course the beautiful view. It was a little disappointing that this bar was closed on two consecutive nights for private functions but we did get several visits in. The food was a great bonus - absolutely fantastic breakfasts! It was particularly good that disposable gloves were supplied to everyone for the self-service buffet. The omelettes the grill chef made were the best I have ever tasted.

Puerto de Soller itself is marred by wafts of sewage pong from time to time, they should really do something about this.

Fantastically located hotel right opposite the beach.
Great service from reception. Our room had a lovely view of both the pool and the beach with everything you need.
The food was excellent with plenty of choice. We enjoyed an after dinner drink in the gorgeous salon room which is situated at the front of the hotel overlooking the sea. This room has enormous picture windows offering an uninterrupted view of the beach and harbour.
The hotel is only a few minutes away from the bus stop where you can catch a bus to Palma, Pollensa and Valdemosa with ease.
We will definitely be returning. trips and great shopping.

Had a wonderful 3 nights at this modern spacious hotel. Superior sea view room 508 was big enough for 3 of us on a girls trip and well worth the extra cost with the large balcony and panoramic view . My teen daughter slept on the sofa bed which was very hard but after 2 nights we realised there was a memory foam topper stored underneath ! The buffet breakfast had a fab selection and fresh hot food cooked to order. The pool area was lovely to sit next too and relax, even managed a dip in the pool on one hot day. Super location right on the sea front promenade for people watching , numerous restaurants - Roma was particularly good .
Only slight issue was that the reservations department were good at amending bookings over the phone but did not follow with the changes in writing despite numerous requests

This was our second stay at the Eden. As a returning customer we were given a free beach/tote bag which was a nice touch (especially as we’d forgotten to pack one).

We had a ‘Superior’ room, which was indeed superior to the standard rooms. However, I will say that the walls were thin as we could easily hear conversations throughout the night from the room on one side of us, although it does seem that two consecutive sets of guests in that room were simply loud and inconsiderate.

The room was spacious with just enough storage and hanging space. Ours had a long balcony and sea view which was a pleasant place to sit when it rained.

The bathroom was also spacious by many hotel standards, with a good shower. It also had a sink that gurgled when the room next door used their sink, which added a bit of character.

Room cleaned daily and all the cleaning staff we met in the corridor were friendly.
I don’t like hotels where the room maids rearrange things to suit themselves. If I choose to create a pile of cushions or leave my clothes in a heap on a chair I like them left there. The first few days of our stay things were left just as I like them. On the final day the maid “tidied”. Grrrr!

Like most hotels, if you want your towels changed make sure you leave them on the bathroom floor. Left hung up and they won’t be changed.

The bar service was friendly but generally slow, I think through lack of sufficient staff, but maybe I just need to get into holiday mode a little more.

The pool is small for a hotel this size but with the sea less than 100 yards away it’s not a major issue. However, more sun loungers are needed, and those that are there are looking a little grubby (sun cream etc) and they really do need to enforce the “no reserving sunbeds” rule in the way that they claim to. We saw the lifeguard removing unattended towels once but this needs to be done more frequently.

Breakfast choice was OK and the hot food was generally warm. We had the buffet evening meal one evening and it too was OK. Overall I’d describe the restaurant as functional and adequate, but nothing more. This is what we’ve found in the past (we’ve also eaten there whilst staying at another hotel).

Disappointed not to get to use the roof top bar. It was shut through some of our visit due to the weather. When we did get up there it was very busy and the drinks choice seemed less than last year so we gave up.

Not a perfect hotel, but are any perfect? Would certainly return, but only if a superior room with sea view is available at reasonable cost (a sea view is an essential in Port de Soller).

We recently stayed at the Eden, (14th-21st May). This our 6th stay and therefore we’re quite surprised at how standards have fallen. Firstly we have always booked a superior sea view room and have always been given a room in the front part of the hotel, overlooking the sea. On this occasion, we were given room 307, which was a standard room with poor, cramped bathroom facilities. The toilet was very close to the bath making it difficult to get in and out of and the bath and shower screen were very old and discoloured, (see photos). The towels were old and some had holes in them. We only ate in the restaurant a couple of times, (despite paying for half board) as the food was of a very poor standard. There were very few vegetables, sprouts being the only vegetable on some nights and the same small fish or pork fillets on the grill every night. We ate out at restaurants around the port most mornings and evenings, adding around another 1000 euros to our overall bill. The cost of the holiday was just over £2000 with flights, already paid up front. The milk at breakfast was off and sour one morning so we reported this to waiting staff. Overall we were very disappointed with our stay and it is not what we expect from a four star hotel with the excellent reputation of the Eden. In future we will be looking for alternative accommodation in Puerto Soller. We have emailed the hotel directly twice and they have not had the courtesy to reply. See attached photos.

Unfortunately, while beautifully located, the hotel itself was very disappointing.

The restaurant, reception and hotel room were outdated. The restaurant resembled a 70s work canteen and the food was very basic.

Though we paid for half board, having tried the breakfast and seen the options and set up for dinner, we did not eat dinner at the hotel once. A complete lack of atmosphere and glaring fluorescent lights lead us to wonder if that was the intention.

Our room smelled of cigarettes and we could hear neighbouring rooms clearly. The room was only cleaned if a sign was left out and shampoo and body wash were not replaced over our 6 day stay. A kettle was provided but no tea or coffee.

Staff seems disinterested and unmotivated. There was no sense of hospitality. On checkout, we asked to provide feedback directly to the hotel and we were told we could leave a review online.

Overall, we felt this was totally overpriced and would not recommend.

A real shame and somewhat confusing as this hotel has huge potential due to its ideal location in the lovely town of Port de Soller.

An average hotel but it has a great location just a few steps from the beach. The interior has been tastefully modernized and it feels fresh and clean. The bathrooms in the rooms are dated though. Other positives include a decent breakfast buffet but the juice is lousy and it feels like a scrum at busy periods.

The major downside and reason we won’t return to this hotel is the sunbed situation around the pool. When we checked in a surly receptionist warned us do not reserve sun beds “it is forbidden”. So we respected that and after four days still hadn’t been able to get a bed around the pool in the morning because they were ALL reserved by 8 am. This means having to set your alarm by 7 to get up and throw your towels on sun beds — not exactly a relaxing start to the day.

We ended up paying 40 euros to get four beds on the beach most days. Not ideal. The hotel desperately needs to invest in more sun beds or a bigger pool deck. We won’t return.

After looking at the reviews left by others I didn’t hold out too much hope . But I must say I don’t know what other people expect it has a perfect location the food is good and plentiful . There isn’t a lot of sun beds around the pool so that means you have to walk 15 seconds to the beach the staff are helpful and always pleasant. My room was very clean and was cleaned every day .You can get beach towels from the reception and the rooftop bar has spectacular views over the port . If you fancy going into Soller you can jump on the vintage wooden tram that runs past the steps of the hotel. If you feel adventurous you can hire a bike and ride up to the lighthouse.
