It's hidden away on a side street but opens up to a really smart traditional hotel. Staff were all friendly, room overlooked the nice pool and it's all nestled in the centre of town surrounded by the mountains. Breakfast was good, served to your table based on a selection card the night before. We didn't use the restaurant but wished we had.
It was just okay at best. Location- this was excellent just around the corner from the old town and in close proximity to transport links. Rooms - these were very basic and bare, more like hostel than hotel rooms. There were no bins in the rooms which was a bit odd. Just a tiny one in the bathroom. Understandbly people with kids were then leaving their used nappies outside the room (can't blame them they need to go somewhere) but these would remain outside the room all day and not cleared up. Restaurant - dinner was excellent really high class food and the tuna tartrate was just sensational. Breakfast was a little frustrating. You order the day before and it all comes out when you're down in the morning. No issues with that it was just that the portions were just tiny. You can ask for more which we did on almost every occasion but it either didn't arrive or took a very long time. Towards the end we just didn't bother asking for more. The hotel isn't exactly cheap and with the rooms basic you'd expect more than an 8th an avocado and a slice of salmon. It was untersting that they loaded up on the cheaper food (cheese, ham etc). …
Great location in lovely town but like other reviewers I strongly suggest the rooms are very tired. Bedside tables wobbly and furniture badly chipped. Towels very old too. WiFi signal very weak. Breakfast fare very nice but due to Covid instead of a buffet it’s necessary to choose your food the day before. It all comes at once and just piled on your table which isn’t a great dining experience. Several plates chipped, staff just shrugged. Ate in restaurant first night after mix up with booking time. Wouldn’t recommend restaurant for evening meal...all show and no substance. Found much better in Sóller town.
Stayed here for 7 days, our first proper holiday away since the start of the pandemic. Was recommended this hotel by a friend and it did not disappoint. A beautiful building, great location with lovely views to the mountains. A short, flat, 5-minute walk to the central square in Soller for lunch, dinner etc. Great pool, friendly and helpful staff. And the restaurant is a great spot for dinner - we went twice, which we’ve never done at a hotel before! Very glad we went and will definitely be back.
We visited this hotel finally after moving it from last year due to isolation restrictions! It is a gorgeous place to stay,so peaceful, clean and stylish! The staff are unbelievably helpful and friendly at all times! The breakfast was also fantastic! Wouldn’t hesitate to go back again, loved it
