Hotel Son Sant Jordi earns rave reviews for its charming atmosphere and warm service, with staff members who are frequently commended for their exceptional hospitality. Nestled in an ideal location, the hotel is popular among travelers seeking easy access to local attractions. While the hotel's cleanliness is consistently praised, opinions on value for money and breakfast offerings are mixed, and some guests suggest the bathrooms could benefit from an update.

We loved our visit. The hotel is charming and in a good location, the room and beds were extremely comfortable, the owner was delightful - also very helpful and kind, breakfast delicious with a good choice of options, lovely to be able to prepare your own freshly squeezed orange juice. The parrots were a bonus, even 32 year old "Peep po"! Will definitely be back

we were there during the winter festival (by accident) - that was fun too!

I have just been on my first solo holiday for 50 years!! I was apprehensive about the trip and chose my destination and hotel with great care. I wanted somewhere that I knew would be safe and easy to navigate on my own for my first trip and having stayed in Pollenca on a few occasions with family and friends before I thought it would be ideal.

On previous trips I had walked passed this hotel on many occasions and when I decided on Pollenca Old Town I looked at this place first. It had everything that I needed/wanted and in the area I wanted to be. Just a 3/4 minutes walk right into the centre of the Old Town it was ideal. And what a great choice it was.

Booking was easy. I booked 7 nights b&b and a return transfer was included in my booking which took away the hassle of booking it and the expense of doing it myself.

The taxi was waiting for me at Palma Airport and the lady driver was lovely. We had a good chat on the 1 hour transfer, chatting as if we had known each other for ages!!! Arriving at the hotel I was checked into my spacious single en suite room. It was larger than I had expected and had very comfortable twin beds pushed together, air conditioning and a great shower room. Lots of hanging and storage space, tv/radio, tea/coffee making kit etc. Perfect.

Breakfast was served in the garden and was good. Buffet with cereals, jams and other preserves, toast, juices, tea/coffee. Etc. Staff brought cold meats and cheese to your table and you could also have a cooked breakfast if you wanted to. All very nice and fresh and served well.

The gardens were lovely, with loungers by the small but adequate pool which was cleaned every morning.

All the staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. The owners were always around to help with questions and give advice if you needed/wanted it.

I was the only solo traveller in the hotel but that was no problem. Other guests were friendly and some very chatty!!

I can’t recommend this lovely hotel highly enough. I will certainly book it again if I travel back to Pollenca.

The journey back to the airport was with the same lady taxi driver and again I spent an hour talking to what seemed like and old friend!!!!

Thank you for my lovely stay! X x

We has an absolutely amazing stay at Son Sant Jordi. Our hotel room was clean, spacious and stylish with blackout shutters and good air-conditioning. The continental breakfast was lovely and fresh with a variety of breads, cheeses and hams. The hosts were very accommodating and happy to provide extras such as cooked eggs and avocado on request. Above all, we loved the pool/garden area as it was incredibly peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed ordering drinks from the hotel bar and enjoying a glass of wine in the sunshine. The hotel is located in the heart of Pollenca and is in easy walking distance of all amenities and historic landmarks. Thank you for a wonderful stay - we will be back!

Feel like home and more we felt in this lovely hotel especially due to the excellence and warm service of Aina. The rooms are kept in the historic style of mallorquin history with the needs of today and the garden is just inviting to relax with all kind of fruit trees and plants surrounding the stunning pool. After a great detailed breakfast stroll through the historic town of Pollensa and relax in the hotel/ garden to finish the day. We enjoyed and relaxed!

The staff are all so welcoming & friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Truly a home from home. Lovely garden & pool, plenty of sun loungers. Super breakfast served on little tables dotted around the garden . We stayed in a standard room in the main building which was just perfect; beds were very comfortable & the shutters took out every bit of light at night. The hotel is placed in such a great position just on the edge of town; just a few minutes walk along the cobbled streets to the main square. The restaurant attached to the hotel is just brilliant & Eduardo is such a lovely host. There a so many other restaurants within a short walk & beautiful beaches & villages a hop away on the local buses. We hired a car, all arranged by the hotel, for a couple of days which was great, all very easy. Special thanks to the 2 Ana's & Raquel for all their help.
We will definitely return here; it is honestly the most relaxing break we have had in years & by far the best eating out. Thank you to Henrik at Rural Hotels for your recommendation

Booked a Junior Suite room on recommendation. Two days before the holiday, I was contacted by the owners to say an upgrade was available €20/night extra for the "Loft Attic" with private balcony. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. Over priced, over-rated and quite a bewildering owner (Anna?). I challenged her that the room we had was not as shown on the website. She harangued and shouted at me for a full 30 mins in the hotel foyer and said the pictures were being changed and it was "my fault". Further that " you English always want discount" I pointed out that was insulting as I was happy to pay for the room I was shown on the website, but not this poor ant-ridden faded student accommodation. Yes it has a private balcony. but that's the extent of the Special" nature of the room. Breakfast is adequate, pool is small and the whole place needs a serious overhaul. We left the day after and found a wonderful hotel in Puerto de Pollensa. BEWARE>. The room was advertised with a "utility room" In essence this was a washing machine on the patio area: it was unsafe !!See photo : the socket front was sat on the washer with exposed wires on the wall socket. Terrace not cleaned the during our (short) stay. Bed was good. clean, bathroom was tiny. Advertised as having a bidet. When I asked Raquel where it was she answered..." what's a bidet?" Never again. (Ps.... pictures still the same on website.) Based on her reaction on the day, witnessed by many, Anna will contradict everything I said. I have no vested interest in leaving a justifiably bad review: she has an interest in trying to deny it. I paid the full rate for the days we stayed.

Absolutely the worst hotel experience I have ever had…

In 2019 we stayed for 4 nights in a Junior Suite and had a good experience. The breakfast was excellent, room was clean, bed was comfortable, bathroom large and comfortable, great shower with hot water. We enjoyed it so much we wanted to come back.

We decided on a 10 night stay at this hotel and booked the "Loft" independent building (about 50 euro more per night). The room was dirty, musty (like the room had not been looked after and cleaned for quite some time), there were large centipedes crawling on the wall and ceiling, no Wi-Fi, the shower got ice cold after 2 minutes, TV was not working, the bed and couch felt like it came out of a frat house. Instead of giving us another room we were told to go to another apartment to use the shower. We had just got done traveling 20 hours to get to the hotel and to come into a dirty, cold, uncomfortable space was a very unpleasant experience.

After a particularly unpleasant encounter with the owner Ana, we decided we needed leave as soon as possible, reset, and begin our vacation again somewhere else. This was an unfortunate way to start a holiday and cost us time and money. Beware if you choose to stay here, plan on your first day to be a complete wash until the owners can eventually find you clean, decent accommodations. There are so many wonderful choices on the island, think twice about staying here.

We were two people in the "family suite" (room 10) which is across the road from the reception and main building. The room was at street level which meant we had no view (except onto the footpath and road) and when we opened the French doors people walked past right outside and could look right in. So no privacy and no view. We probably should have asked if we could have changed to a different room but when we were shown the room the very friendly person from the reception said something about "a very nice room" and we just weren't quick enough, I guess.

The room itself was spacious – apart from the bathroom which was very small. We are small people but even we had to squeeze ourselves in and out. There was an extra slightly bigger bathroom with a toilet on the other side of the shower – with entrance from the living room. But mostly it is natural to use the toilet with entrance from the bedroom – and this was very small.

The shower was large but the water pressure not great (actually not much water came out) and the water was only just about hot enough.

The whole room was rather worn and in need of an update. We like old-style charm but it badly needed paint and other redecoration.

The garden and pool were located behind the main building so if we wanted to use this, we had to cross the road. It didn't really matter to us as we did not intend to use the pool and garden anyway but if we had wanted to, we would have had to cross the road in swimsuits or bathrobes. Just something to be aware of.

On the plus side, the towels were very large and fluffy, breakfast was OK, and the staff very friendly. And the location in Pollença is great – it's right in the centre, so very close to restaurants, etc.

Dear Mr Froggy2Denmark We thank you for your reservation with us. However if you did not like this room, why did you do not ask to change of room? There are so many options at Son Sant Jordi , as it is a complex of houeses of the XVII with different style and space rooms. We thank you for your comments which help us always to improve. However as a little family run hotel I always apreciate that guest tell us the little matters during the stay so we can sort it out m instead of replying to reviews on a computer. In my opinion, with the Internet, it is very usefull with many things, but we are losing the personal human values . We will be happy to welcome you again and to attend all expectatives that we can support as best as we can Regards from sunny Pollensa

I am on day four of a six day visit to the hotel. From my arrival to Palma where the taxi driver organised by the hotel met me wi5 a smile, everything has been wonderful, check in was quick and easy, local information given to me and Raquel explained the keys and different entrances to the hotel. I was allocated room 4 , a beautiful room overlooking the garden. Large sized room with a good size bathroom and every need addressed. The beds are very comfortable and the linen of excellent quality. Tea making facilities, a mini fridge and all you could need. As it is so hot I asked for a fan and was given one immediately. The wifi I found a little slow but no problem, I was given a booster for the room and it is fantastic connection which allows me to work when needed. breakfast is in the garden, fresh produce, delicious yoghurts and fruit, all you can eat and cooked breakfast also if you wish. The staff are professional and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Anna the owner is lovely, her sister Gemma is polite and so friendly and their two little dogs lovely and no annoyance at all. The garden is an oasis , clean well maintained pool, plenty of sun loungers, beds, swing seats, shelter from the sun. There is a summer house, with hot and cold water, drinks all laid out for guests.I am staying half board and the restaurant is very well managed by Eduardo and the food delicious. I highly recommend the warm goats cheese salad and lots more. It is situated in a quiet area but only a few minutes stroll from the main square. This is my first time to travel alone and so I would say I found the perfect place to do this. Guests are friendly also. I can not say one negative thing about this hotel, the staff or the place Poloenca a beautiful old town .

Beautiful traditional building. We had a very nice room overlooking the garden and pool. The garden is lovely, full of interesting planting and flowers. Lots of seating options and loungers/daybeds. Run by a very friendly and helpful family. Breakfast was great (taken in the garden) with nice touches like home made jams and yoghurt, fresh breads, pastries, cereal and fruit. Centrally located too which made seeing Pollensa very easy. Can highly recommend!
