Very helpful and friendly staff. The owner spoke very good English and was able to recommend restaurants in the town. It was very clean and well run and we couldn't fault it all, but it wouldn't suit anyone who wanted a swish, modern hotel. This is full of history and tradition, and is furnished in the style of the era... More

Beautiful building, lovely grounds and interesting artefacts wherever you look. However it just needs a bit of oomph!!! we had a lovely room overlooking the gardens and sea in the distance. Glorious old windows but they need renovation. We would loved to have learnt about the history of this villa but could not find anything written. the town of Luarca... More

At the top of the hill from the town, this hotel is steeped in history. It's beautiful facade & lush gardens are like a step back in time. The receptionist, Raphael, speaks excellent English & is very knowledgeable about the history of the hotel & the area. Our room was spacious with a large comfortable bed & was very quiet.... More

Casa Indiano built by those returning from South America with money. Fabulous building, lovely gardens, interesting decor. Up above town so easy walk down but demanding back up. Small Swimming pool in garden. Also small gym in small shed at back of garden. Easy parking, well signposted.

The apartments are in dire need of some TLC, or paint for starters. Dead flies and mosquitoes (not dead) did little to improve matters. Dingy. Weird. And FAR too expensive. Don't stay here! Hotel is a long way out of the village up a steep hill.

The villa has beautifully renovated bedrooms, with high ceilings and windows. The charm of yesteryear is evident in the decor and paintings. Breakfast was superb. Best of all, the receptionist spoke excellent English and was able to advise us about downtown parking and restaurants.

This is a beautiful hotel that was built as a show place for an expat businessman from Luarca who had made his money in Argentina. Our bedroom had wonderful old chandeliers, crown molding, and hand-painted ceilings. The hotel was impossible to find when we drove into town without a GPS. The harbor of Luarca is quaint and adorable.

It isn't often that you find a place that is special. We are so used to staying in your stock standard hotel room. This hotel was a pleasant change for our family of three. A lovely old hotel, clean, huge bedroom, new bathroom and dressing area outside which worked perfectly, big french windows looking out to the garden and countryside.... More

An excellent stay with very nice, welcoming and helpful owners who gave us details of interesting circuits to do from the town. Breakfast was excellent with real coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. The hotel is extremely quiet. It has a very nice swimming pool and peaceful garden. The SPA and the gym though were closed. I would definitely go... More
