The four-star Plesnik - located in one of the most beautiful alpine valleys and surrounded by mighty peaks of Kamnik-Savinja Alps, offers luxurious amenities, exquisite dining and professional service. Highlights for us include the breathtaking views from the south-facing balconies, the splendid hotel terrace and the new spa with panorama wall through you can view the valley while you rest. These are free to use for guests and various massages and other treatments are available for an extra charge. The hotel is also a popular destination for business retreats and meetings and multi-day packages for couples and families are also on offer. Additional accommodation is offered in adjacent Villa Palenk, which has rooms of similar standards (and access to the pool) for slightly lower prices. We have great possiblities for activities on open as: hiking, biking, mountain climbing, hunting, foto hunting ... Hotel has new Alpine Eco Wellness with Ayurvedic massages and hotel rooms (2017).

Beautiful hotel and stunning location. We reserved a room with a pool view and it was worth it. The room was excellent. The only downside was that there were many areas off-limits for dogs. The breakfast was ok.

This hotel was a very nice, luxurious stay. There is free parking available, and the staff were very nice. We had a triple room, which for the price, I could say could be bigger compared to MUCH cheaper hotels we have stayed. However, they provide you with comfy beds, a balcony and a bathroom. There are also fridges in the room. however, the wellness centre is the highlight, with a lovely heated whirlpool, nice seating areas, 3 saunas and an outdoor natural pool. All of this is also provided against a lovely view outside a large window. Breakfast provided lots of options, However, food in general is very expensive at the hotel

I did an Ayurveda yoga retreat and absolutely fell in love with the hotel and staff. The location of the hotel is breath-taking, the concept of the yoga retreat was perfect: the yoga classes, Indian cuisine cooking classes, Ayurveda lectures - special thanks goes to Dr. Dayal, who is an expert at his field! Furthermore, the spa area is super relaxing, peaceful, the view from there is gorgeous and the massages are healing, exactly what i needed.

A few days ago I concluded yoga retreat in charming 4 stars Hotel Plesnik in Logarska Valley. The program was very well designed, perfectly performed and guided by dr. Dayal Joy. Classes included practical yoga asanas, pranajamas, relaxation (yoga nydra), proper diet, cooking lessons and meditation. Retreat gave me a deeper insight into yoga and enabled me to understand myself. Excellent AHAM yoga program performed in the beautiful landscape surrounded by high mountains made my experience even more magical. Friendly staff, luxury wellness, tasty and healthy couisine. Perfect place to find rest, longevity and relaxation.

The Plesnik should have it all – there’s no doubt that the location is gorgeous, the rooms (we stayed in the refurbished annexe) are spacious, contemporary, bright and comfortable, the spa is a super-relaxing space with a nice outdoor natural pool. The hotel has taken big steps towards more sustainability and wellness which is to be applauded. But there is something important that seems to have been lost along the way and that’s hospitality. Thing is, we’re a pretty laid back family, we’re not needy guests wanting over-attentive service. It would just have been nice to have had a pleasant welcome on arrival (it felt like an inconvenience to want to check in), a hello in the morning or how was your meal at dinner. For some reason, the staff here don’t appear to be a particularly happy bunch and don’t go out of their way to engage with guests. The front desk keep their heads down and the restaurant staff seem unempowered to resolve small problems with diners. Their only solution is to apologise and back away. (The only exception was the yoga teacher who was lovely!) I’m not blaming the staff, this down to poor training and management. This is a hotel in need of an injection of personality and passion – less process, more customer service. We have found so many warm and welcoming places to stay in Slovenia; sadly the Plesnik isn't one of them. A note about the food: dinner costs 40 euros per person and you get to choose 4 dishes from a list of 5. The food was ok but certainly not at that price. The breakfasts were much better. If you are vegan, then the vegan options are very much at a box-ticking level. Really basic and uninteresting option of a main course of variations on a small bowl of rice on each the 4 days we were there. You will have to negotiate something more interesting because they probably won’t offer it unprompted!

This hotel is perfect getaway for a couple. The rooms are comfortable, I especially loved the hard bed, because I have a back problem. Wellness is superb, you can really relax there and massages are phenomenal! Breakfast is self-served buffet with a lot of options and almost everything is home-made, which is amazing. Dinners are served, 4-courses also include light lunch (soup, salad, fruits), which is really nice, so you can eat something during the day as well. Dinner was amazing, some of the best food I ever tasted. They have a huge wine selection with delicious Slovenian wines. The waiters really know their job, as they recommend the wine that goes with your dish perfectly. Last but not least, I want to complimente the entire hotel staff. I have been to lots of hotels, but never have I seen such a profesional and kind staff. They couldn't be any more helpfull. I loved the check-in, because the receptionist was super friendly and smiling all the time. You really feel welcomed the moment you walk through the door. It is not the cheapest hotel, but you have to think about all the things you receive - kind and professional staff, delicious food, peace and quiet in the most beautiful valley... I also loved that they are very eco-friendly, I wish more hotels would be like that. Thank you for such a lovely experience, we will gladly return.

We stayed two nights in that hotel. The view from the terrace on the surrounding hills is superb. Breakfast without comment with a lot of OPG local offers on the table. The dinner was lovely and the wine selection excellent. Imagine coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening with a loved one and the mountains around. Modern rooms mixed with antique accessories. Bicycle rental in the hotel possible. Recommendation to everyone.

The Hotel was superb, with friendly staff and great service. We were upgraded to one of the best rooms, with a perfect view of the Alps and the valley. Logarska dolina is a great place for hiking trips, we did have a great time.
