Every single detail was lovely and welcoming, the family was very nice , they always offer support. Other than the very good breakfast, we we were arriving from a long hike and the mom offered us free fruits from their farms. Ursa was very helpful recommending hiking trails and nearby activities
We thoroughly enjoyed our 2-night stay at Farm Lenar. The room with balcony/view of mountains was lovely, the location was convenient to hiking and restaurants, the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Ursa and her parents were wonderful hosts, providing answers for all our questions and stories about the area and its history. The quietness of this mountain valley and the beauty were a wonderful respite along our 10 day journey in Slovenia. Wished we had 2 or 3 more days there, to enjoy more hiking and walking the valley.
Beautiful traditional farm with the kindests hoasts out there! They were very helpful with giving advice for hikes and shared a lot of educational/fun stories from their lifes in Logarska Dolina. The rooms were spotless and had a pristine farmhouse feel and most importantly - comfy beds after long hikes!! We loved the fact that they had a lot of animals around the house too. Great breakfast... especially the freshly baked local bread... mmmmm :) Without a doubt, heaven on earth. We wish all the best to the Lenar family. <3
We were here almost for a week, it passed like a blink. We met most cind people at Lenar. Thanks to all, our visit was unforgethable. We had help and informations of all kind. Our dog was welcome. I love brekfast in peace, served with kindness and love. Well thank you for everithing, hope we see you soon!
Logarska dolina is on one hand a great place for recharging your batteries or on the other the best location for hiking enthusiasts and adrenaline junkies. We spent three nights at Kmetija Lenar and it was absolutely the best. Family owned bed and breakfast is neatly designed and room’s interior is in a beautiful wooden aesthetics. From your bed you can observe the Alps and enjoy stunning views. If you are not sure whether to book a breakfast as well, let me help you with that, the answer is yes - take the breakfast, you won’t regret it. All the food is home produced and local. They even have waffles! I could go on on how great the stay was, but let me stop here. When it comes to great locations in the area, I recommend you driving up to Matkov kot and Robanov kot. A short one hour walk to Rinka Waterfall is easy yet rewarding. If staying during summer, I recommend you visiting Raduha and a very special Snow Cave, which is a unique and not very touristy place to go.…
We (family of four) made short holidays there last week. This bed and breakfast lodgement fulfilled all our expectations. Even more - hosts (Urška and Mojca) were very concerned about our well being, spoiled us with huge breakfasts and gave us advice about our short trips (we have 11 and 3 years old children). Our apartment in parterre had a wooden terrace that we used for sunbathing when too tired to move around but still wanted to enjoy the mountain view.
While making a 25-day trip through Slovenia, I spent 4 nights at this lovely farm in the beautiful Logar Valley. Booking was easy through the tourist farm's website, and Ursa was very helpful prior to my arrival, assisting me in arranging an excellent guide for driving the Solčava Panoramic Road and an equally good mountaineering guide for hiking. My stay was great. I loved my room -- it had a nice view of the mountains, a balcony, and a comfortable bed. The ensuite bathroom was great. Wifi was good, too. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide assortment of choices, including mountain herbal tea for a drink. One morning, I had to leave early for a day trip, which meant missing normal breakfast hours, but Ursa insisted on having breakfast ready for me an hour early so that I could eat at the farm. Ursa's mother also did laundry for me during my stay. I really cannot say enough superlatives about Lenar Tourist Farm. The location, the facilities, the hospitality -- all top notch. Highly recommended.…
The drive into the valley, by itself, is enough reason go. Narrow, winding, sometimes single lane road through Slovenian villages and countryside is fantastic. The valley is indescribably beautiful. Ursa's farmhouse and property is so unique, especially in this era of big money resorts with scripted "hospitality" employes. We felt at home immediately. Ursa is so genuine, pleasant, and accommodating (and she and her mom make great, fresh homemade strudel!). From the horses, pigs, dogs, goats, gardens and pastures to the upgraded rooms, to the easy access to world class hiking this is one of our favorite places anywhere in the world. I wish we could have stayed longer.
Stayed in this beautiful valley for a week studying biomimicry. What a joy. The soaring mountains that guard the valley shade an abundance of wildlife and flora, many hiking paths and wild waterfalls. It has a sense of peace and tranquility that belongs to a bygone era whilst it provides all the modern comforts of the 21st century (my wifi here was better than home, but it's best to switch of!!). Wonderful service and support from the whole family for whom nothing is too much trouble, and delicious food - especially the cranberry cake!
We stayed for two nights in this beautiful farm and we loved it. Gorgeous breakfast and comfortable room, with nice views. The area is simply incredible and the owner kind and helpful. We´ll come back for sure.
