Went there with my family and it was really nice. The host showed us where we can go to eat and some nearby atractions. The apartment wac nice, it had 2 bathrooms, lovely kitchen, large living room and big terrace. There are a lot of things to see and I would really recomend the area and the apartment itself.
Me and my girlfriend decided to book this appartment since it looked nice and it offered breakfast included on the ad. Few days after confirmation owner sent an email that breakfast is additional 7€ per person claiming it was a missunderstanding/mistake on our end... Since we declined to pay additional money for breakfast the host turned into not really so friendly. When we arrived she accepted us and told about where we can eat/go and such and said to contact her if we need something. Later on that evening we noticed that password for wifi does not work, i sent her text but no response until next morning. When we got back from walk in town we also noticed its quite hot in the appartment so we decided to turn on AC. It was not working at all, so we opened the balcony doors to get some fresh air. In bathroom there was also nothing but towels, no shampoos, no hand soap... On the second day while we were out we left the balcony doors opened to keep room fresh. When we got back we noticed that doors were shut and there was hand soap in bathroom. We texted the owner why she entered the appartment without our knowing/approval that she can enter, she responded that it was danger of storm... Next morning when we were leaving I confronted her about entering, she became very angry, she said that she can enter appartment any time since its ''her house, her rules'', that she was affraid for the appartment getting vet(previus night it was raining hard and wind blowing and there was not a single drop inside, thats why we left it opened). After telling her that AC doesn't work and that she shouldn't enter without us knowing she literally kicked us out and called us rude... And few more things, stairs up to the appartment are very steep and narrow, not elderly and kids friendly, cellings are so low, if you are above 170 you cannot stand in majority of place. All in all very bad experiance, I do not recommend staying here, its overpriced for what you get and bad host.…
I stayed here with my partner in September for 2 nights and wish we had booked more! We might have just struck lucky but we booked a double room and when arrived she had double Booked so ended up in the massive apartment! After staying at some budget accommodations in Slovenia this was such a lovely welcome to have such a beautiful home to Stay in! The apartment had everything you could ever dream of in it, the owner Natalia was extremely helpful and always available. She met with us and talked us through the map and gave us restaurant suggestions. I have never stayed in such a well equipt apartment, every last detail has been considered and the bed was very comfy. I addition I left a couple of personal belongings in the apartment and didn't notice until I was too far away to return and Natalia kindly posted them to me back in the U.K.! So anyone considering staying in Kobarid you would be silly to stay anywhere else! We would definitely return if we comeback to kobarid! Danielle …
Very friendly owners, Natalija and Robert, and very friendly and helpful regarding sights and trails in the area. The B&B is clean and good location near the city center. It is clean, quiet, and modern. On the not great side is the fact that the double rooms are on the top floor so they have sloped ceilings with only a small center area where you can stand upright. One night stay charge is an additional 10 EUR, which, in my estimation, makes it not such a good value for the room. And I'm not sure I would want to stay in the low ceiling room for more than one night. Free WiFi was nice and good speed. The breakfast (additional 7 EUR) was marginal with minimal selection. They did provide fresh cooked eggs to order. We saw the main floor apt. and it would be great for a larger group or family.…
We had the top floor apartment (both sides) for our group of 4. Convenient location. Great advice on local dining and hiking. Cute town, easily walked. Walls were somewhat thin (not from other guests, but between our rooms). Good value.
Ditto on all the previous comments! Spacious, comfortable, cozy accommodations with gracious and knowledgable hosts in Nataljia and Robert. I couldn't ask for anything more and wish we could have stayed longer. I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else!
The title says it all. We couldn't have been happier with our stay at Hisa Sonca. The owners Natalija and Robert are wonderful people that know exactly how to treat their guests. We stayed in the three bedroom apartment and it was large, modern with every amenity you could possibly need. When we go back to Kobarid, this is where we will stay. If you're going to Kobarid, then look no further. THIS IS THE PLACE!
We spent 3 nights in this place. The room is spotless and has everything we needed like good wi-fi access and balcony with excellent view. The owner was very helpful. She gave us all the information about the town and surroundings. We prepared meals in the kitchen a few times. I would recommend this place than other over-priced options in Kobarid. You never regret!
Great lovely apartments located in the very centre of small and beautiful Kobarid with cleanest, nicest, cosiest rooms and kitchen and living room and most friendly owner / host Natalija, who is the true example how landlords / owners should act or be like. Makes you feel very welcome, you have the sensation as you are at home. Luckily most of the people in Kobarid are like that, so you need to go there at least once, and while you're there - don't take my word for it, try it yourself.
Great apartment in the centre of Kobarid. The room was very nice, clean and modern. Comfortable bed. We stayed for 2 nights and had breakfast included which was very good. There's also the option to cater for yourselves. Natalija was very helpful and gave us great ideas for what to do and where to go. In particular the round walk to the waterfall and down the river Soca was fantastic. If you're planning on staying in Kobarid (which is in a beautiful region) I would highly recommend Hisa Sonca.
