Beautiful rooms and quiet areas around the hotel to sit and read. Great service. Fab food. Very busy at weekends in the spa. Also there was a queue for breakfast on the Saturday morning. Midweek breaks may be quieter and more relaxing. Overall I'm looking forward to my next escape to Monart.

Excellent SPA resort in an unusual part of Ireland. Monart is a real SPA - in that it is not just "treatments" but also a whole range of machines (3 types of sauna (from easy to oven), salt grotto, steam room, infra-red room etc.), good sized infinity pool and relaxation areas. There are other SPAs in Ireland which are really...

What a treat. On arrival the car is parked fir you. The bags are taken to your rooms. One feels very special the minute you step out of your car. The facilities are amazing the grounds are fantastic the food is to die for. The one thing that stands out above everything else is the staff. No matter what position...

We spent a weekend here with friends last week. We had been here for a night a few years ago but we wanted to go back with other couples this time. Once again it didn't disappoint. Walking around in your bathrobe can take a little convincing but you just go with it. Everyone else does and you feel silly been...

Nice enclosed location, really feels like a relaxing escape from the outside world. Meals were fairly standard for the price, most of which I could make at home myself. Although it is a relaxing location there isn't really much to do after the evening meal. Would maybe recommend a bit of live light music such as solo guitar player or...

We spent two lovely nights here over Valentine's Day escaping the world. Firstly the positives - from the moment you arrive everything is done for you - your luggage brought in; your car parked etc. I was won over as soon as I was given the most delicious brownie to eat whilst we checked in! You get a personal check...
