Large room equipped with 1 double bed and one large single. Adequate breakfast with excellent service. Meals are served in the bar and the restaurant from the same menu although you can also get sandwiches in the bar. The choice for vegetarians is limited. When we were there the bar and restaurant were so busy you had to queue to... More

Heading to Cork and stopped in for a bite to eat. Really nice place, but the service was really really slow. From sitting down to getting the Horse and Jockey mixed grill and an omlette it took over 40 minutes. However, when it came it was worth the wait. Never had a mixed grill to even go close to it.... A great stop for tea and cake, a vast selection of buns and tart to enjoy sitting around in the reception area. The service was just ok, we didn't eat in the restaurant or stay in the hotel just stopped for cake and coffee

Nice hotel just off the motorway. Very nice rooms and the pub was great. This hotel is set up with conference rooms, a theater with stage, and leisure center/spa. I stayed one night and was very happy with it.

It was so good that i went back a second time, Patrick our waiter was just brilliant. He remember what I had to eat the first night ( no cucumber) it is a busy hotel & restaurant which is always a good sign for any restaurant. Definitely will be back

Stopped for some food on the way back to Cork the other night, 5 hungry individuals, a couple of steaks, burger, roast chicken a salmon washed down by a few pints, although late in the shift staff were very helpful and the food was plentiful and good, worth turning off the road for

Stopped here this afternoon with a colleague for lunch. I had the beef sandwich and it was absolutely terrible, the bread was just covered in butter so couldn't it eat and the beef itself was fatty and just not nice at all. This was probably my fourth time to stop here for lunch in the last 12 months due to... More

Didnt stay in the hotel, but its now traditional to eat a meal at the H&J on the way West - and either have breakfast or a quick coffee on the way back. Its better than any service station for either. Service is impeccable, fast and friendly. Packed on the day we stopped to eat, i think we took the... More
