We stayed in three different hotels in Greece. This was the worst! The design is tacky and makes room very uncomfortable to move around.bThe hotel is difficult to access, and inside there is no elevator, so you have to carry your suitcases in spiral staircase. There was a smelly sofa in our room, regular keys to open the doors (not card). In the room, there wasn't even a kettle to make yourself a cup of coffee. Breakfast was so poor that on the second day we preferred to eat outside. The only 2 good things: kind service and proximity to the main Street. Hardly enough. Not recommended!
Our stay here was great. The room was large, the location is just a few minutes’ walk from the busy areas of the old city, and breakfast was good. Our only complaint is that the wifi was terribly slow - we often preferred to use cellular data as it was faster.
We had the chance to stay for 3 nights. It has far the best view in Nafplion. Amazing hotel, very clean, cozy, and comfortable rooms. The girls in the reception were very friendly, willing to help and propose things for making our stay the best experience, with always a big and gentle smile. They were very friendly to our cat, something that is not acceptable in most places in Nafplion. The breakfast was so tasteful with so many fresh and handmade delicacies! It is an excellent choice and we are looking forward to going back again!!! (Polina and Thanos)
Great location. Close to old town and beach. Entire hotel is very clean and comfy. Lovely porch that overlooks city. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Delicious and filling breakfast. However, there are alot of stairs to climb if you do not want to drive around. If you have mobility issues, this may not be the hotel for you. But is very charming . We really enjoyed our stay!
High quality of the room, good breakfast, splendid view over the town and the sea from our own private balcony and the breakfast terrace. Quietly located on the outside of beautiful napflion against the wall of the citadel (so, you will be safe!) at the end of a footpath. 5 minutes walking to the city (many stairs!) and to car parking on the citadel.
Very friendly and polite people working there. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a big smile. The hotel is situated almost under the Castle and the view is amazing. We were in a short walking distance from all the attractions of the city. Nice spacious rooms very well heated for the winter , very clean and nicely decorated. Bathroom very clean with jacuzzi nicely decorated. Breakfast very fresh and all the variety you need ,nothing is missing. We will definitely stay there again , we had an wonderful time.
Hotel was in a great location. Easy walk to the waterfront and all the shops and restaurants, but quiet at night. Very helpful staff, tasty breakfast each morning. Easy access to off-site parking. Would definitely stay here again.
Maybe the only drawback of this boutique hotel is finding it. You have to park a little distance either above or below the hotel, so it is not suitable for guests in a wheelchair or severe walking difficulties. Other than that it is a fully modernised boutique hotel in a splendid location with wonderful views, very nice guest rooms and a wonderful breakfast buffet. Also the staff are very welcoming and knowledge for advice on location and Nafplio.
At a perfect location, overlooking the entire of Nafplio, with a beautiful view, the Amfitriti Palace Hotel is a top choice. Clean and comfortable rooms, very good breakfast, excellent atmosphere and most of all, friendly, experienced staff with superb bedside manners! (and they are pet friendly as well)
The room and view were amazing! We enjoyed sitting on the balcony. Lovely hotel. I have two complaints. When I booked the room, I was told the breakfast was free. However, we were charged for it. Also, we arrived by bus, and the hotel didn't tell us in our confirmation it was better to enter the premises from the top. My husband and I are in our 70s and had a difficult time carrying our luggage up the steep steps. If we would have known, we would have taken a cab to the top.
