Nafplia Palace hotel is something to be experienced. Located on top of the Acronafplia hill, the hotel towers over the old quarter of Nafplio city. It's architecture, based on stone and concrete, is inspiring and typical of the school of architects that designed the now defunct chain of Xenia hotels back in the 60s. The restaurant, a steel, wood and... More

We loved this hotel. Perched on top of a hill with beautiful views of the town it is spacious, comfortable and individual. We had a room in the new wing; a sitting room bedroom, two bathrooms and large terrace including a shower that doubles as a steam room. There are two new swimming pools and plenty of terraces for drinks... More

Stayed there for 3 nights, we were upgraded the room upon check-in. Very nice and spacious room with a Jacuzzi at the balcony, great view to Nafplio town and the sea. Bed quality was not very good, definitely needs improvement for such a hotel class. Also many switches in the room, becomes tricky to manage to switch on the lights... More

The bottom line is that our stay was great and we would definitely return for another visit. For starters, it's a unique property overseeing the city and harbor. All structures are build with stone and masterfully done, fitting in with the ruins it coexists with. Our room was gorgeous--stunning view, the patio and private pool, the bedding and linens, the... If the public areas are a little old fashion the general location, view and swimming pools are great. Service is very nice, our bedroom - with private pool, hammam and jacuzzi - was fantastic. We loved it and plan to come back.

Yes the view is wonderful - can't argue with that. But for our experience that was the best and only good thing about this hotel. Our room (with a spectacular view) was dark and not very clean. We went to leave the room and the door knob came off in my hand. I took it to the front desk and... More

Good views of Bay of Argolis and the old town. two good restaurants in the hotel There is an elevator to the hotel at the top of a somewhat formidible mound, with a scary road that buses have trouble with. Take time to explore the old city, perhaps before you go up to the hotel. Venetian Fortress in the harbotr... More

i did love my time at this hotel. it is a little on the odd side, with the lift that goes down from the hotel and through the cliff, and then you can get to the town through a tunnel. The tunnel has a military feel to it - if you look at old maps, the hotel is on the... More

We were with a group tour and were booked into this interesting hotel, built for and by the "Colonels" after the coup d'etat in the 1960s. It was very elegant in its time with beautiful woodwork, very spacious rooms, a great view of the harbor, and beautiful pool and dining areas. It is perched atop a hill and you enter... More

The hotel is in a great location and the views are fantastic but it falls short of five star. The staff are efficient but lacking the personal touch of the family run hotels we stayed in. The controls for lights and curtains are very annoying and the wifi was ridiculous , having to sign in every time we wanted to... More
