it is an old hotel, worn out but still it can provide an enjoyable relaxing stay. The lobby and rooms and out of the 60s but it can be fun. The pool is amazing and breakfast is also very good. The staff were nice and accommodating.

The pros: Magnificent, amazing and fabulous view. Friendly staff. Free parking garage The cons: Rooms and spaces seem abandoned (except bungalows). Although the staff told us that the rooms have not been renovated, except the beds, floor carpets and television, the 198 euro a night is not a good value for money. The hotel asks you to send by FAX... More

The good is a fabulous view overlooking Nafplio and the bay. We were in a bungalow that was very clean, spacious. OK breakfast. Staff was good. The feedback in here about the maze of switches in the room is spot on. What were they thinking? Even the shower controls are overly complicated. Our mattress was poor in quality. If we'd... More

This has to be one of the best located hotels I've stayed in as regards views..... It's on a cliff top overlooking the beautiful city of Nafplio. The hotel has 2 Pools - 1 small Infinity Pool and 1 large Pool with ample sunbeds and good for shade or sun - both pools have great views. The restaurants also have... More

The location, service and kindness of the staff was amazing; we had booked 'luxury room/bungalow with sea view' for 4 nights and were upgraded to 'premier villa' (number 708). The space was huge: 2 very large rooms exquisitely furnished, divided by sliding doors and opening onto a huge terrace. The rooms had glass ceiling/floor sliding doors which opened the whole... We came to 2 villas which are the only renovated rooms.you can see the 1950s Brady bunch style architecture but inside are ultra modern and luxurious. We originally booked adjoining villas but was written for only 4 people we are 5 but upon arriving were told we could have stayed with 2 adjoining. Instead they upgraded one of our villas... More

Entrance to the hotel is through a tunnel of an old bunker and a lift takes one through a rocky cliff to the hotel entrance. The room is a mixture of rocky walls and a wooden ceiling. The view of the harbour with small boats is stunning. Breakfast is one if best. As far as meals are concerned the pork... More

Dear Frank R, Thank you for your positive comments and I am pleased that you had a good stay overall. I am dissapointed to hear that the course of pork did not meet your expectations. Our room is built on the ruins of an old fortress above the city. We have a large villa with sitting area, fireplace, Jacuzzi, and terraces on 2 sides with the same view of the Aegean. It is tough to figure out the electronics of this place as there are so many switches for everything. They are a bit understaffed.... More

Dear UESfoodie, Our locations is definitely one of the things we are very proud of about our hotel. We are so lucky to have a property on the hill of Acronafplia’s castle. Please note that your concerns have been passed to the management. We hope to welcome you back to the hotel soon. More

The Naflia Palace is at the top of the old town. A grey monolith perched in between ruins of the Venetian fortress. We were given an upgrade to a villa room away from the main hotel. Fantastic views from the balcony and a quiet shared pool which was a peaceful retreat from the town below. We have never stayed in... More

The staff was very friendly and police. Very beautiful hotel and views. I loved the spacious swimming pool. The rooms were clean and elegant. The breakfast was very good. The town was easy to get around and shop. The shop keepers were helpful and not pushy to sell their items.
