The service was very basic. There was no bell boy to help us with the luggage. The only assistance we received was from the reception to show us where the luggage cart was. The cart was not fitting the elevator until it was put sideways with all its weight from the luggage. This made it extremely difficult to remove from the lift and bring it to our door. Of course the same happened upon our departure. Next to this, the breakfast was of very low quality compared to other hotels in Greece in the same class but sometimes even more competitive price level. For example, the croissants were far from what any guest would expect from a croissant. Coffee which is one of the most important parts of anyone's start of the day was UNACCEPTABLE. No option to order, greek or any other type of coffee. Noteworthy, that we were not asked how our stay was, which is usual in even the most basic accommodations around the world. This shows a lack of interest in the guest's experience and is not up to the hospitality we are used to in Greece. I would like to mention a few positive things, like the room's cleanliness and the close proximity to the major locations like the city center and the beach.

We stayed for one night in this hotel within walking distance of the market square and old town of Nafplio. The room was clean, and had two separate beds, a bathroom with shower and a small terrace. The port is not too far, so you can park your car there. The breakfast was basic, but definitely of good quality. The staff was friendly.

The location was really good. Easy, quick check in and out. Friendly staff. The room itself was very small (we had booked a double room) and the beds were not overly comfortable. The bathroom was the smallest one I think I have come across where you had difficulty closing the door if you were in the bathroom. The shower head leaked water everywhere. Upon looking at the photos I don’t think they truly represent the room - at least not the one we had on the first floor. Breakfast was good each morning with cereals, sweet treats, eggs, bacon etc. Easy walking from the free parking at the port and we even managed to park for free next to the hotel at one stage. There is thankfully a lift in the building which you will need if you walk up to the fort. I would think twice before booking this hotel again.

We have also stayed in this hotel during summer and they have quality service. Good experience and excellent breakfast. Staff at the reception very helpful. We leave the car outside the hotel and go everywhere.
