Single Room was small, but very functional and comfortable. There was a small balcony out onto the street with views of the Rhine. It was a bit tricky to work out how to get into the hotel. I went around the back and found someone to check me in. Restaurant was closed (Tuesday is their night off). They referred me...

We stayed here one night on our quick drive through Rhine Valley. We didn't book upfront so we were pleased that they have room available late evening. The receptionist was very service minded. Room not modern but functional. Some traffic noise from main road but we slept well. Breakfast average. Overall value for money.

We stayed at the Hotel Zum Anker whilst cycling around the Rhine region. The hotel has a dated appearance but the rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was extensive with a lot of hot and cold food to choose from. Location is great, right opposite the Rhine and a local park. The town centre is only a few minutes walk...

Location is excellent. Opposite hotel there is big park along river and nice view. Hotel and restaurant is neat and clean. Food is just OK for Indians. Very difficult for Vegetarians just like many places of Europe. If you need good Indian food go with Indian tour operators. I am with COSMOS. Bath rooms are big but not elegant having...

The room was clean, the bathroom adequate. There is no A/c for the first time on our trip. They have a digital thermometer set up but according to the front desk it is not connected to anything. Luckily it was cool enough to leave the window open. The dinner they provided was outstanding.

This hotel overlooks the Rhine and is against one of the old city gates. Outwards appearances are good. The room we had however had a definite aroma of cigarette and unfortunately so did the dining room. The bed was not very comfortable and the window was either open or not. The en-suite was reasonably modern and clean. The whole room...

You can't beat the location! Yes, the hotel is made of wood, might be a bit noisy but hey: You are in Germany and you stay in a hotel at the Rhine on a street that is named after the first German president after WWII. Enjoy the location and Andernach

This is a beautiful Hotel right on the Rhine River. It is right on the edge of a small village and it was a joy just to stroll through the streets. The room was clean and staff were friendly. We had dinner at the hotel as part of a 16 day bus tour and the meal was very salty and...

We were very impressed with the service at this little family run establishment. The owners were very welcoming and worked very hard to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The food was delicious in the little restaurant. The hotel is located on the bank of the Rhine, the scenery is most beautiful. Watching the sun set was mesmerizing. It...
