This was my first time in Austria, only because I and my wife like mountain locations, this hotel had the most arrogant reception staff I have ever come across. The first problem was the cold water in our tiny bathroom was hotter than the water from the hot tap, our room was in what I describe as the basement, so...

We had a great week's stay. Especial thank you to our waiter Tomas, who is good at his job and the chef. LOTS of lovely extra's that all made the difference, spa area was great - we especially loved the outdoor sauna. Some nice evening entertainment too including a torchlit village walk. We enjoyed the fire place and book case...

Stayed here for two weeks and expected the usual good standard for the price paid, unfortunately we ended up in a very small room (even though we had upgraded with the holiday company), so we had to upgrade to a 'Junior suite', which anywhere else we've stayed was really a 'comfort room'. My feeling is that this hotel is all...

Stayed in this hotel for 2 weeks in September. Unfortunately, our room (number 16) was a few feet away from the railway line. The electric trains ran at a reasonable hour and the noise was acceptable. However, the noise from the 04:00 freight train every day, was not! If you are allocated room 16, avoid at all costs. You will...

On arrival management(reception) gave few details about hotel only strict time of dinner. Room 103 was very small for two people. Single wardrobe, no place to put suitcases or to sit comfortably even the bed had chamfered corners to get round it! Very small bathroom with deep bath which was hard to get in/out for shower. Balcony long but couldn't...

Our room was reasonable large. Unfortunately the safe was the size of a small shoe box, but no issues other than that. The room did come with a small balcony which was very agreeable. The bar area was great with a very friendly atmosphere. There was also an indoor pool spa area and a games room. Excellent and friendly staff

My wife persuaded me to go to Austria. We chose the Seefelderhof, in Seefeld, and I wish we hadn't, the receptionists were not very welcoming, the bathroom was very tiny, and the water coming from the cold tap was at times not only warm, but hotter than the hot tap. We asked for a mini fridge, and what happened next...

Not very good if you are a vegetarian, one ' choice' was simply the main meal with the meat taken from the plate. two of the advertised walking events did not happen and no explanation given just cancelled on the spot. Didn't like the fact that a workman had been in my room to bleed the radiators when I was...

We have stayed at this hotel twice before five years ago and again this year while touring in Europe. We remembered the nice room, all furnished in local timber lovely view of the surrounding mountains this time we opted for a higher priced room, more spacious, but situated at ground level, looking out at the garden. It had the advantage...

Recently stayed at the Seefelderhof hotel in Seefeld. Sufficient to say would return to this hotel and advise others to stay whilst in Seefeld. The staff were excellent, nothing any trouble to them. Room was kept spotlessly clean. Would suggest guests request rooms with a balcony overlooking the garden. Do not be put off by the location of the railway,...
