Hotel Klosterbräu & SPA is celebrated by guests for its spacious, modern rooms and the caring, attentive service provided by its staff. The cleanliness of the hotel, especially the rooms and spa area, is consistently lauded, as are the comprehensive amenities that cater to a variety of preferences.
While the hotel's atmosphere and unique location within an old monastery are frequently praised, some guests find the decor a bit outdated. The value is generally appreciated, though there are mentions of additional fees and some value concerns.

The Hotel Klosterbräu & Spa is the address in Seefeld when it comes to luxurious and relaxing holidays!
In December I was already there for the 10th time, I think that speaks for itself. The hotel leaves nothing to be desired, all the staff are incredibly friendly and always strive to meet the wishes and demands of the guests, which is always possible in my experience. The entire Seyrling family is present at the hotel and always has an open ear, be it praise or criticism.
The rooms (I had several categories) are very modern, decorated according to the lifestyle of the hotel. Nothing is missing here, whether it's the coffee machine or the minibar, which is refilled every day.
The spa area is excellent, an indoor and outdoor pool and a large outdoor hot tub invite you to relax, some saunas and especially the hand-carved sauna are particularly noteworthy. Ultimately, the large massage and spa offer complete everything perfectly.
The kitchen is designed for every taste. The breakfast buffet is extraordinary and more than rich, a vitality buffet at lunch and then the menu of choice in the evening, just a treat.
I could name so many points from my experience here, but I'll sum it up in one catchphrase - PERFECT!
The next holiday in December 2025 is already booked, in late summer I want to come again. Unfortunately, I had to cancel a stay now in February.
A big thank you goes to the Seyrling family and the staff who make every stay unforgettable!
Greetings
Andreas Schumacher

We've been here a few times and we've always really enjoyed it. The location is fantastic in the middle of town and yet very quiet. We also like to stroll through the town after dinner, because Seefeld is a very beautiful village. We had one of the "lifestyle" rooms with perfect facilities. Nothing is missing here and if you still want a few hangers, then that's no problem at all. In general, we really liked the service, the competence and the friendliness of the staff. It starts when you arrive: hand in your car keys and your vacation begins. Your luggage is brought to your room and all you have to do is unpack. We always do this after a walk around the Wildsee followed by a delicacy at Michael Jank across the street from the hotel. The rooms are very clean, there is also a fine selection of different pillows... that is very important to me because there is the right one for me. The atmosphere in the hotel is familiar and a little elegant. Not too much, definitely not stiff. Relaxed and cozy with always professional service. The breakfast buffet offers a wide selection, cheese and sausage are freshly sliced and the egg dishes are freshly prepared. Since I always drink the same tea at breakfast, it is perfectly prepared and placed on the table every day without being asked. This is one of the little things that make the hotel so unique. The evening menu is excellent, there are always alternatives to the suggested courses. The food was always very good but I think it got even better, a real treat. The extensive wine selection at reasonable prices is also very good. I'd better not comment on the prices for water. The service staff is very competent, polite and always courteous. We had various treatments in the spa, everything was great here too. We used the outdoor pool every day before breakfast. The entire spa area is great and very well maintained and clean. The, sorry, gorgeous hand-carved sauna is awesome. It's actually just super beautiful and perfect for connoisseurs like me. Overall, the Klosterbräu is the perfect hotel for us and one that we always enjoy coming back to. Compliments to all employees in service and behind the scenes. By the way, there is a wall with slots for tipping for the different areas. We think this idea is great and we use it too.

We have been to Klosterbräu for the second time and are completely thrilled! The holiday begins immediately upon entering the hotel, where you are served a welcome drink, the car is unloaded by the friendly staff and the suitcases are taken to the room. The room (250) is spacious and tastefully furnished, balcony, safe, minibar, satellite TV incl. Sky, plenty of space for clothes and shoes available. Large modern and very clean bathroom, toilet separate. The beds super comfortable, so we asked for the brand. This time we sat for breakfast and dinner in the beautiful and covered monastery courtyard. All meals without exception very good, large selection and also good portions, the staff responds to all wishes. Also highly recommended are the massages and treatments offered, very good masseuses: here again a special “Thank you!” to Anja and Sunny - you are doing a very good and great job! Also interesting is the tour of the wine cellar and the history of the monastery and the hotel, which is guided by Chef Alois, he gives a very open sympathetic insight also behind the scenes of the house, which is completely and very lovingly run by the Seyrling family in the 6th century. Generation is led. Klosterbräu is constantly changing, and we are very excited about further developments and news. We will come back very safely and very soon!:-)

The reception was a bit hypothermic, and the tour a bit close, and we lacked the essential explanations as we were there for the first time and did not know each other. Great service when loading and unloading the car and parking. However, we did not know about the additional parking fee beforehand.
The stone pine double room: very modern/cozy, and the great modern spacious bathroom, and the air conditioning was very helpful. Great and fast room service. We especially loved the quick replacement of the duvets with thinner ones the same evening, on request.
The cuisine is first class, dinner menu is unmatched in quality. Also the breakfast buffet, we were very impressed by the richness. Only one evening the process somehow did not work, we had to wait a very long time for the gears. Otherwise, we had a great service, which was also somewhat employee dependent.
Our request to remove a dead fly right next to us on the window sill was only met after 2 requests. Usually something to look out for in such a hotel.
Too bad that the glass roof of the terrace was not opened more often. A great location.
No reproach to the hotel wg. the volume of a child in the dining room all week, it should only be noted that it was sometimes quite annoying. Hard to say how to change that.
From the bistro for lunch we were a bit disappointed (the offer with 2 small plates). Often, the cold water was not replenished, even at the request of others. We found the outdoor area not so appealing, no one cared about opening the umbrellas, for example, or just a little unwillingly.
Wellness: the sauna infusions of an employee we found quite exaggerated, too much, it reminded us of a disco/party with too loud music. Not relaxing. And the infusion should also start more punctually out of respect for the participants, as you are prepared for the duration as a guest.
The hotel is not responsible for the behaviour of individual guests in the sauna, but one could clearly point out certain rules: For example, textile-free applies to everyone, including Italian guests, a towel should be mandatory for all body parts, even on the wooden bench in front of the sauna you do not sit naked and sweaty, after leaving the sauna during the infusion you stay outside and do not come back in, you do not only get in halfway while the infusion is already running. Maybe a little fussy, but important to us.
There could be more relaxation rooms available in bad weather. The rooms in the 1. Stock we found not very practical/cozy.
The hike with Thomas was great, but we would have liked a little more hiking than twice a week, and less mountain biking. There were also no walks as announced, apparently wg. Illness of an employee.
We also wrote our feedback to the hotelier family directly, as recommended, but unfortunately they probably didn't have time to react.
Overall a nice stay, but for the hotel category and price there were too many beauty flaws for us, compared to other hotels of this category.

I was allowed to be a guest at this wonderful hotel for the first time at Christmas 2024. The family-run hotel of the Seyrling family is equipped with incredible attention to detail. Upon entering the lobby and the warm manner of all the staff I immediately felt welcome. My life partner and I really enjoyed the holidays in this hotel and the beautiful village of Seefeld. Whether the suitcase service, the valet service, the service staff, the ladies and gentlemen at the reception and not forgetting the Seyrling family, hosts out of passion, were extremely polite and helpful. This old monastery is in my opinion up to date. The rooms, spa area, gym, bar, restaurants and corridors on the floors are extremely clean and modern. Every evening hundreds of candles were burning in the house and a very cosy atmosphere was created.
The breakfast buffet was amazing. There was everything your heart desires. Unfortunately, I was overwhelmed with it and couldn't get out of the astonishment on the first day. Unfortunately, the menu on Christmas Eve was not so good and the time window did not fit.
In my long life I have seen many and beautiful hotels in the world, but this 5* Hotel Klosterbräu has left a magical impression on me and therefore gets the 6th star from me.
Great hotel on a very high level!
Thanks to all the staff who did their best on the holidays so we could spend a nice time there.
A THANK YOU to the Seyrling family, you did everything right!
Warm greetings G. Brodtbeck, H. Lemke

Our stay at Klosterbräu in September 2024 exceeded all our expectations – there were really no wishes left unfulfilled. From the first second we were warmly welcomed and felt immediately welcome. The warm welcome and courteous care set the tone for an all-round successful holiday.
Breakfast was an absolute highlight, both the extensive buffet and the à la carte options left nothing to be desired. It was a perfect mix of variety and quality, and you could feel the attention to detail in every dish. Particularly noteworthy is the freshness of the ingredients and the appealing presentation. Every morning we were looking forward to tasting our way through the offer. The culinary diversity ensured that each of us was satisfied – and that definitely contributed to the harmony of our trip!
The hotel itself exudes a very special atmosphere, which is not only due to the historical significance of the building, but above all to the passion and commitment of the owner family. You can feel that passion and dedication are in the foreground here. This family flair coupled with the unique charm of the house made our stay particularly enjoyable.
Entertainment was provided every day: There were numerous Things to do, from sporting challenges to relaxing wellness and beauty offers. Bored? Misrepresentation! We were particularly enthusiastic about the petting zoo and the lovingly designed Kids Club, which was a real highlight for our child. It is rare for a hotel to respond so well to the needs of all ages.
Another unexpected surprise was our roommate – a well-known lead singer of a German band who also spent a few days at Klosterbräu. This chance encounter gave our holiday a very special touch and will surely be remembered for a long time.
The rooms were spotless – spacious, tastefully decorated and equipped with all the amenities you could wish for. In addition, the excellent service of the staff was always friendly, attentive and helpful.
In short: We enjoyed the time at Klosterbräu to the fullest and very much hope to be able to holiday in this dreamlike ambience again soon. For us it is clear: Everything is just right here!

Undoubtedly the central location is the strong point. We have stayed at this hotel in the past and this time we really appreciated the fact that the noisy beer hall below the hotel has been replaced by a classic restaurant. The outdoor areas are pleasant and well-kept with a swimming pool perfect on sunny days. Rooms that are small in size and require more careful maintenance and probably renovation and with an internal temperature that is not always optimal. Breakfast could be improved and the restaurant was good but not up to expectations. Drink prices too high. The sore point is that the cancellation terms are too rigid. It's 2023 and allowing reservation changes only before 30 days of arrival is excessive as plans can change for many reasons: climate. work commitments, changes of plans, etc. Personally, I always prefer to pay a higher rate but be able to cancel my reservation without penalty up until the day before arrival.

We are regular guests at the Hotel Klosterbräu and can only warmly recommend this hotel. For us, it is always like coming "home" and just feeling completely at ease. The entire team is friendly, takes care of all wishes and concerns and makes the stay an all-round perfect holiday. The host family Seyrling is always on site and very loving with the guests. They take their time, have conversations and convey the Younique and family atmosphere in the hotel throughout. The food is unbeatable, star cuisine at a high level. The kitchen team carefully deals with allergies and always has an alternative ready for us, which is not a given. The rooms are lovingly, spacious and also modernly furnished with attention to detail. The cleaning fairies ensure perfect cleanliness almost around the clock!! The spa area is simply a dream, leaves nothing to be desired, very clean and also modernly furnished with attention to detail with a few little surprises in the sauna area. As soon as we check out, we are always planning the next holiday at the Klosterbräu, because the longing calls. Thank you to the lovely younique Klosterbräu team for their tireless efforts to make the holiday a unique experience. There is no other hotel like this in the world.

I was able to enjoy my birthday in the day spa. It was an extraordinary experience, starting with an excellent and plentiful breakfast. Then we were shown the spacious spa area. Everything is explained personally. You can see the love and dedication of the hosts in every detail. All the facilities are in perfect condition and beautifully designed, the hand-crafted sauna is really something very special. The infusions were very beautifully celebrated. In between you can enjoy a freshly tapped beer from the free beer fountain that can be found in the 500-year-old wine cellar. At lunch there was a lovingly prepared meal. Fruit, tea and dried fruit were always available. The outdoor pools are very pleasantly warm and offer pure relaxation! In summary: simply wonderful and we will definitely come back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with our family in Klosterbrau. We travelled with a baby and a toddler and we were fully equipped. There were already two neatly made beds ready, there was a changing mat and there was even a diaper bucket. There are also sleighs and a snow stroller to borrow so no lugging with all kinds of stuff.
The service was generally very knowledgeable and helpful especially Mercedes who has served us almost every evening has taken care of us extremely well.
The rooms and the hotel were very warm so I would definitely advise to bring enough airy clothes as well.
