In all honesty, there is no better place we've stayed so far in India. The hotel itself is immaculately clean and well looked after by a family whom evidently take a tremendous amount of pride in what they do/provide for their guests. The family itself are warm, welcoming and wonderfully gracious in their hospitality. It creates a perfect balance between...

Rooms to suit a range of budgets down a fairly quiet street. Funky graffiti-style decorated walls. Lovely friendly family. Good value for money and great rooftop restaurant. We had a lovely stay here and would recommend it.

I went to check it out, and looked at two or three rooms. They were ok, but I didn't feel they lived up to some of the other reviews, which seemed rather excessive in their praise. I'd say it's a good budget hotel, but it didn't strike me as a particularly beautiful building. The person showing me around was really...

My boyfriend and I came to pushkar for 2 days and are staying for at least two months. We love pushkar - but we also feel so at home at Hotel Rising Star. The hotel is new, and SPOTLESS. And the family is AMAZING!!!!! It hurts my heart that someone said anything different below. You have to flip a switch...

My stay here was made so good by the friendly and happy staff. The room was very clean and you meet so many interesting people also staying. For a budget hotel I can highly recommend this hotel. Thanks for a great stay.

Usually Tripadvisor steers me right but i was disappointed in this pick. let's start with the good. Yes the rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and accommodating. Nice people, nice family. What i'm disappointed by. I stayed on the ground floor and paid R600 per night. Maybe the rooms upstairs don't have this issue. But the budget rooms definitely...

We were very happy staying at the Rising Star Hostel. The rooms are spotlessly clean, the family running the place are very friendly, decent and respectful. Tthey have made the place so beautiful, with a huge banana tree in the courtyard, colourful murals, a veranda, rooftop restaurant with excellent home cooking. The rooms are tastefully decorated and well maintained. For...
