We only stayed 2 nights in Pushkar, and that felt like enough. We booked Pushkar inn because lonely planet recommended it. We got quite a large room, which was quite nice and opened up to a nice garden. But our bathroom was quite dirty and had a really bad smell. The hotel is also a little bit away from everything...

We booked in to the Pushkar Inn after going on the Lonely Planet's recommendation and how wrong they were. I wish we'd checked TripAdvisor first! The room felt really dirty and nothing worked properly (light switches/toilet seat etc). And to make everything worse the room was full of bugs, geckos and crickets! There has to be better budget accommodation in...

I loved staying at Pushkar Inn! It's a great place for solo travellers - the huge garden and social areas are a great place for meeting people and they offer good value, clean rooms. It's also in a prefect location - right next to sunset cafe, overlooking the lake.

If you are a budget traveler and care for more of the surroundings than the room you should go for this place. Placed right at the lake with the door of the room opening to a small garden. There is a cafe attached and you can get food starting from 7 am to 11pm. The staff is good and it...

Situated right on the edge of the lake the position of this place makes up for all it lacks. The ghat is full of life from hawkers and musicians to animals and bathers. The room was very basic and clean but came with no towels or soap. However doors on either side opened up to lovely garden for both sunrise...

Booked a room in this hotel , based on the recommendation in the Lonely Planet ( how the Lonely Planet could recommend such a dive is a mystery & I'm seriously considering if I'll buy another Lonely Planet guide book in the future). Unfortunately we did not have wifi in our previous hotel, so had not checked the Tripadvisor reviews,...

Dirty bed linen, broken light fittings, no towel or hot water. But the worst was the loud music until midnight coming from the bar. I went out twice to complain. And to think I went past so many nice places to find it. Just don't go there.

Pushkar Inn is a really strange hotel, and the only good thing about it is the location (but be aware of fake priests down by the ghat). We came to the hotel because our taxi driver refused to drive to our first pick, White House, without showing us this place first. Or actually he took us to the hotel next...
