I had visited in November 2016 with friends and we had stayed in the dormitory. The dormitory at least is not frequent by guests, so we had the whole dormitory to ourselves. The location and the property per se are very good. It is close to gada shah ki dukaan and the town centre. However, like all government properties, it was... More

visited the resort with family, wort experience ever. It may have been because of Dussheraha festival, there was a fixed menu and the service was very slow. The rooms were not done up to the mark, the color on the out side walls was very shabby and the room service took hours . Over all the experience was bad. The... More

We had chosen the Malwa Retreat AC Swiss Cottage for a family vacation stay. And we were so correct in our choice over choosing this property over Malwa Resort, Mandu. It was October during the Dusserra vacations. We had put up at Room Number 110, but as all other rooms were vacant on that particular day we found the balcony... More

Stayed here for 2 nights , in so called , air cooled room. Air cooler electric supply pin was not even connected in the mains socket , so you can understand the ' air coolness '. Brought this to notice of the man at the desk , got standard answer ' kisiko bhejata hoon ' ... Nobody ever turned up... More

I stayed here in one of the air cooled rooms for one night. The room and the bathroom were spacious and clean. The ceiling paint was peeling off and overall the room looked depressing. With a proper paint coat, the room would be much better. The staff were helpful and courteous & even helped me book a cab for local... More

The Malwa Retreat is set in well maintained gardens, 1k from the village centre, overlooking a long, deep and scenic ravine. There is a block of non a/c and a/c rooms sharing a common veranda which hangs over the gardens. However each room has a private balcony looking down the ravine. The rooms are spacious and clean, have good bathrooms... More

Stayed in the AC Tents. Lamps in the room were broken and so was the panel of the toilet flush. Some fixtures in the room also needed attention. The best part about the tents was the early morning view of the valley right outside it. Good location, as it is walking distance from the Hoshang Shah's tomb and Jahaz Mahal.... More

You have to get into a Valley side Tent to enjoy this location. Nice spot to just get up with the Nature and hear the Bird's chirping to their fullest potential...Was lucky to get quite a few varieties....Resort facilities are average, but that's how I have witnessed in such locations. There is a Hotel few meters away from this resort... More

Everything here just at the borderline between 'satisfactory' and 'excellent'; just a bit more effort and you are looking at a buzzing hotel scene. It is small property, with very few rooms, but is usually full. Staff is helpful and courteous, though not ingratiating. They will find out some solution for whatever problem you find with the rooms, bathrooms (leaking... More
