I adored this place for its rustic village style feel. The house is basically a bungalow with 5 rooms and we were lucky to have most of it to ourselves. It is quite far from the main area (about 8kms) but the tiny village where the place is situated is amazing. Although I do recommend it to people who know... More

We stayed here in December 2014. Now catching up writing reviews about our trip through South India. We would really recommand staying in Anegundi as a home base for visting Hampi. It's a lovely quiet little village. So if you like a peacefull stay and village life go there! We had a great stay at Peshagar Guest House. Great location... More

I've stayed in many places in Hampi, and this was by far the best. Firstly - Anegundi is so much more peaceful and calm than Hampi Bazaar or Virupapur Gadi. The places there are often overpriced, dirty, or less welcoming. But not Kishkinda's properties! The rooms were very good for the price. The manager of the properties, Siraj, was also... More

We visited Hampi and Anegundi in October and the stay at Peshagar Guesthouse was certainly a highlight. The village Anegundi has a charm of its own, and the best thing about this guest house is that it does not stand out. It is just another house in the village. Every bit of this house, from the kitchen with chimney (which... More

Peshegaar Guest House Made our Hampi trip more special!! My husband and me planned to make a budget trip to Hampi. We came across the website http://www.thekishkindatrust.org. It listed options for accommodation in Anegudi village, that’s across the Tungabhadra river but TOTALLY WORTH THE TRAVEL!! This property belongs to the budget segment of Uramma Properties and has charm of being... More

We loved Anegundi. If you are going to Hampi then for us, Anegundi is the place to stay, but we recommend it reluctantly because the beauty of it was in the peace and quiet and the fact that there were hardly any tourists there. Hampi Bazaar is a different story. The food at Peshagaar is amazing. We ate some 200... More

Very nice stay in Anegundi at Peshagar guest house. Rooms are simple but clean. Hot water available on demand, but not necessary due to the climate in Karnataka. People were here very nice and did their best to help us in organising our journey around Hampi. A very good idea is to ask them bicycle to freely explore the countryside.... More

We first got to read / hear about the place from an article in Outlook Traveller. Since, the place suited our budget and was run by a trust, we decided to give it a chance. To our delight the place was well connected to Hampi, maintained and picturesque. Clean rooms, nice backyard, peaceful locality, serene terrace and warm people is... More

Having stayed in JLR near Hampi in August this year , I chose to stay in a less touristy place on my second visit in September with two others.I stumbled upon Peshagar when I called to make enquiries about Shama's Cottage . Sriraja who answered my queries told me about Peshagar - a village homestay run by the same people... More
