From the moment we arrived the owner and his wife did everything in their power to help make our stay as carefree and pleasant as possible. They have useful links with a local travel agent who was also extremely helpful and sorted out a lot of train journeys on our trip. The room was clean and quite small but had...

The views from the restaurant is the best. At 8:30 wile having breakfast you can see how they bath the elephant in the river from there. They serve good meals, indian and no indian, also fruit. We were 3 people and booked a double room with sightseeing to the river and it was peaceful until the sun rise in the...

The room was clean, especially the bathroom. The property location was also good. Restaurant's food was not that great, I had ordered for a masala Dosa as I thought that Dosa being a part of the local staple diet would be good, but it wasnt that great. The best part was that the service was good and helpful.

The stay at Archana guest house was good. For that price, its a pretty decent one. The ac in the room was okay... It doesn't get cooled immediately... But does the job in sometime. The food is not great.. Full of oil and not soo tasty... But manageable. The staff was helpful... There is no river view from the room......

Got shout at by the manager and he made a huge scene about one of his old dirty plastic chairs, claiming I had to pay 500 rupees for an old crack in it for putting down the backpack "too hard" on it. Internet is not working in the rooms, shared dirty bathroom w/o sink. Pic: manager standing at the top...

Nice rooms.. Good food, the owner "ravi" is a huge hustler so pay attention. But the room was nice & view was nice. So a good place to stay. The staff is a bit pushy and don't really seem to want you there. But if you can manage to stay positive and not be bothered by the hustling natives that...

My favourite place to stay in Hampi! The room was good, the AC worked, its perfectly located in the middle of Hampi, and the view when you chillout in front of the Guesthouse is beautiful. Also there is a restaurant on the top, which serves a tasty breakfast. Just the wifi is poor... But its everywhere the same in Hampi...

We had booked this on Booking.com. The room was described as having a tv with cable and a balcony with a river view, and at Rs 2500 was very expensive; we were expecting a mid - range hotel. We were shocked when we saw the room. It was so small there was barely room for 2 beds and a tiny...

Archana Guesthouse is located just next to the Tungabhadra river and also within walking distance of Virupaksha Temple and Hampi Bazaar. The best thing about this hotel was the excellent view of Tungabhadra river and the hillocks beyond it from the Archana Guesthouse Restaurant. The rooms were average with basic amenities but the food was good. The owner/manager was helpful...

We stayed here for a night, the best part of the guest house was it's location. It's very close to the river and the main bazaar area is walking distance from here. It's also just a 5 minute walk from the place where Lakshmi, the elephant is bathed in the Tungabhadra River. The rooftop also has a good view.
