Went to Dharamshala and Mc Leodganj. weather was awesome with dark clouds covering the sky and backdrop the majestic Dhauladhar mountain ranges covered in snow. It was mesmerising . The hotel is located very close to market and a nice property with amazing view of Kangra Valley from their dining space. However the food and the menu needs improvement. Still...

Rooms are not too fancy. But certainly more than adequate, clean and spacious. Restaurant is good, but slightly on the expensive side. Especially try the local (Himachali) food. Hotel is localted in main Dharamsala Market. This is not a tourist area and not too much variety in food (restaurants) is available. Macleodganj (main tourist area) is a good 15 minutes...

For first-timers, let me make it clear that Hotel Dhauladhar is located in lower Dharamsala, which is far below Mcleodganj, located in Upper Dharamsala. This was the only downside of our stay in the hotel because we wanted to spend more time walking through the Tibetan market in Mcleodganj. Now coming to our stay, the hotel has nice, clean and...

After a bad experience at a reputed hotel in Palampur, we decided to play it safe and checked into Dhauladhar Hotel of HPTDC in Dhramshala. Nothing fancy to look at, but basic amenities, good food, and comfort, well in place. We checked into the 'Cedar suite', which was a spacious and clean accommodation, complete with a personal verandah. To start...

Visited last week on a business trip and stayed here for a night. It is located just where we enter Dharamshala and all essential services are located just around this hotel. Rooms and bathrooms are big and grand size. Upper floor rooms provide good views of Dhauladhar mountain ranges.Food and services are good. Enjoyed my stay.
