Compared to many of the other lodges abutting Bwindi this is truly more above average. The staff is friendly and kind and the food very good. The rooms are clean and hot water is adequate. Good access to the entrance to the gorilla habitats.

Depending on when you go, the gorilla treks can be hard to book, so would suggest you book ahead. I don’t recall the lodge organizing any treks themselves, but it’s used by many tour operators
