My two adult kids and I stayed here in this beautiful setting with a balcony where one both hears the outdoors and sees the outdoors. Unique sleeping quarters, nice hot showers and clean bathrooms, wonderful staff and good food. We took a tour of the Bwindi Forest, coffee growing, and banana beer making nearby. It was educational and insightful into...

The lodge is perfectly located looking directly at the hills at the edge of Bwundi National park, the setting is perfect for relaxing and reflecting. The staff, everyone from the front desk to the restaurant and house keeping are wonderful. They made us feel very welcome and their warmth was reflected in everything they did. We stayed in the Honeymoon...

I spent 2 nights in this place. Finally a real hot shower with a real stream of water to wash my dusty hair. A perfect strong swedish massage aftre the gorilla tracking. While listening to some life music presented to a Belgium group by the local school kids which are supported by the hotel I wrote my diary, enjoyed a...

Was part of a small Nat Hab trek group in Nov.2016. Our twin room was upgraded to the presidential suite so that the staff at Mahogany Springs were able to provide us with two keys for the room. Views are awesome, the food great and most greatly appreciated was the boot and gator cleaning following each trek. One fellow in...

The lodge is lovely, rooms private with their own veranda. What makes this lodge is their people - so friendly, chatty and helpful! The meals were all fantastic and having our boots cleaned after gorilla trekking was fantastic! We went on a village walk with Amon which was fabulous. Abrahim is the best bar man ever...you must ask him about...

Yet again, my group and I were impressed by the beauty, hospitality, and delicious meals of this lodge. Once again, Jotham and his staff exceeded expectations and made us regret leaving. I cannot wait till my next visit and highly recommend anyone to visit.

I just finished spending two nights here to go gorilla trekking. From the pickup at the airport to drop off, I felt welcomed to be a guest. I frequently travel in Africa alone and that can be a bit odd for some places. The staff at Mahogany Springs made me feel instantly welcomed and a bit looked after. They knew...

In 2013 we had our first gorilla experience in Uganda hosted by the lodge Mahogany Springs. The cottages, the location, the staff, the food; everything is excellent. Therefore we decided to come back this year at this place. Paradise on earth for gorilla trackings. The standard of service this year was even higher than before. Nothing is impossible for the...

The hotel is very well placed for gorilla trekking. The rooms are very comfortable and have wonderful views of the forest. The staff were particularly helpful, and it was great to find out more about their support for a local school (Bwindi plus nursery and primary school). A group of children from the school came to the hotel to show...
