The grounds are extremely attractive and very well maintained. All units are individual and are situated in such a way that they provide a great deal of privacy. The main building houses reception, the dining room, bar and a large and spacious porch with comfortable chairs and sofas. Our room (Henry) is at the end of a path and very... More

No complaints at all. I will definitely bring more people here. Very close to the... More

We stayed at Mahogany Springs on our recent trip to Uganda. The lodge is in town, but on a hillside, sheltered from the main road. The cottages were lovely, roomy, and had a great view of the hills. The common rooms were spacious and comfortable. The food was excellent; the packed lunches provided to us for the gorilla treks more... More

Fabulous lodge, wonderful location and extremely helpful staff. Super visit! Much better in my opinion to be just outside the Park gates. Go for a Community walk too. Rooms are very quiet and airy and views simply stunning. With food to match!

Beautiful lodge (which could use a little maintenance in areas) in a splendid setting. Stunning and magnificent giant Mahogany tree off the balcony of the lodge, facing the mountains you will be climbing for gorilla trekking. The staff was super service oriented, eager to please and the food was very nice. Try the goat neck stew - delicious! When our... More

I am just leaving Mahogany Springs after a 5 night stay as a solo traveller. I must admit, at first I was debating the extra expense at staying here. How wrong I was! I have had superb value for money. From the level of staff care, attention and local information, then there's the luxurious accommodation and not least the food!! Absolutely... More

A short drive from the gate and Park HQ where you will commence your Gorilla Trekking experience, assuming that is why you are in Bwindi, this excellent lodge provides good food, good service, good views and a good customer experience. Abraham deserves special mention for looking after us so well in the restaurant. Chef cooks up some fantastic dishes and... More

From the perfect location to the most hospitable and professional staff, this is the place you must stay at if you ever think of visiting Bwindi for Mountain Gorilla tracking or going on type of holiday. Doreen and I were here for three good nights with our two boys (Timothy-3.5years and Mark-1.2years) from May 17-20th 2016. We had a great... More
