I was in SImon's Town for 1 week and I choose Backpackers as a place to stay. The price was afordable, staff was nice and whole place was clean and rather quiet. Wi-Fi was free, maybe not very fast in my room but it was totally enough to check some things on the Internet (and honestly it's not the most... More

We stayed 3 nights. This backpackers is close enough to walk to the train station and to walk into Simon's town (it's not a big place) and walk to the Penguins. It's clean and staff helpful, finding us an adapter for the plug sockets as ours didn't fit and helping us get back to Cape Town for our train. It's... More

We came in later in the evening but the owner was still friendly to Let us in. The hostel is closed off safely and the room was clean. Also the shower and toilets were clean. Basic place were you can certainly stay a night. Close to boulders beach to see the penguins.

There's lots of good things to say about this backpackers: it's in a great location, the rooms and general areas are nice, everything is very clean, there's multiple bathrooms, there's always hot water. It's a very comfortable place to stay. We would stay again. The only issue we had was with the wifi. It could do with improving. The wifi... More

Room 6 - double ensuite room with shower, fridge and balcony. Clean and comfortable. Safe in the room, but downsides, no storage and main road very noisy from 6am every morning. Access to kitchen useful. Helpful and friendly staff. Free overnight roadside parking very handy. Definitely recommended.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Rooms and bathroom were spotless. Friendly staff. Decent pricing. Great view from the balcony. Can walk to the restaurants and shops from this backpackers. I would definitely recommend this place.

In a great location for what we wanted to do for a few days while in Cape Town. It's was only a 5 minute walk to the pier that we needed to be at at 6am. Boulders Beach and penguins are just a 5 to 10 minute drive away. It also is located within walking distance of several great restaurants... More

A little bohemian and cozy place. Very good location at least for our interests. The room was clean and ok with a great view (we had a double ensuite). Warm shower. No handsoap in the bathroom, which was a bit strange, but no big deal; we had a spare one (probably stolen from some hotel) in our bags. The free... More

This hostel is ok if you only look for a place to sleep. They do not offer a very nice common area or kitchen. The balcony has a beautiful view however. Just stay here if you have something to do in Simons Town.

Despite very friendly staff this hostel is overpriced, we stayed in a double room with a shared bathroom last week, our room was damp and cold. We wanted to stay close to Boulders Park however we wished we would have known that 5-10 minutes further round the bay there are much nicer hostels much closer to the beach.
