We spent two nights at Mariner Guest house. Our room had great views of the harbour and town from the balcony as well as all the amenities you'd expect (fridge,tea/coffee,safe etc). They offer a free shuttle into the main square at 6.30 and back at 8.30 which was perfect for us. Outside these times guests can arrange alternatives with the...

Everything was excellent. The perfect place for a honeymoon or anniversary. Money well spent. Staff were very kind and very friendly. I will definitely recommend this guesthouse to anyone looking for a nice place to stay in that area. The room was super clean and perfect and the view of the bay is breathtaking.

Located on the hill, widely open ocean seen, and peaceful atmosphere. Perfect place to take rest and trip to cape point. One lack thing is parking space. But neighborhood is very quiet. Strongly recommend.

We liked all of the staff who were very helpful throughout our visit. Their recommendations were really good. We appreciated the complementary taxi each evening at 6.30pm to local restaurants. Our room was spacious with all mod cons. Breakfasts were superb with a spectacular view over the harbour and stunning landscape as we ate. Mariner Guesthouse definitely deserves its excellent...

We have been at the Mariner for nearly 2 weeks now and can't emphasise enough what a wonderful place this is. Although our room doesn't have a balcony, we still have a fantastic view from our window and the room is just lovely, we love the high vaulted ceiling. This place feels like a home from home, everyone who works...

Warm welcome, very friendly and helpful personnel, delicious varieties for breakfast, spacious room with balcony (and visiting doves), comfortable lounge with big balcony for guests to use, located above the town in a quiet street with a beautiful view of the sea - and of the military harbour (not to everyone's taste)

Thank you for your feedback. I am pleased that you enjoyed your stay. Not everybody realises that ours is a "Navy town", but different from what you might find in other parts of the world? Even though we overlook the historical harbour and see the frigates or odd submarine out in the Bay, it offers an interesting addition the usual...

The house is very well decorated, really cosy, breakfast is superb and the staff very nice and efficient. The room iwas comfortable with a terrace and view of the sea. There are no meals so it is good to have a car to go to town or restaurants in the neighborhood or to use a van that offers this service.

We had a very pleasant stay at Mariner. Simon's Town is well positioned to explore the Cape peninsula and surrounds. From our room we had a perfect view of the bay and right across False Bay . The room was spacious and tastefully furnished and was perfect for us. Breakfast was great and the staff were informative and very friendly.
