We stayed for 2 nights and woke each morning with great views of the ocean. Nearby to shops and other attractions and within close proximity to Boulder's Beach. The unit spacious with adequate amenities to ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay. A bonus is having a sundowner on the small patio watching the day ending.
This self catering apartment lies outside the hustle and bustle of central Simon's Town and a stone's throw away from Boulder's penguin colony and Cape Point nature reserve. The apartment is designed for 3 seperate groups but you feel quite private. The ocean view from the living room and bedroom is simply breathtaking. There is also a beautiful mountain view that could be easily forgotten. The neighbourhood is clean, safe and friendly and there is a lovely beach a short walk away. All amenities were provided, as was free wifi and a limited choice of satellite television.
There are three units on this property, we were fortunate enough to have booked the whole Villa to ourselves. All the Units are very spacious, light and airy. The place is immaculate and beautifully decorated in light colors. The view from the living area, entertainment/braai and the bedroom (as well as upstairs unit) is amazing.. Highly recommended.
Spacious, magnificent view, friendly and helpful staff, a fine experience overall! Simon's Town is a quaint town and well located for day trips around the peninsula or into Cape Town. Definitely recommended.
There are three units on this property; we stayed in the very spacious, light and airy ground floor unit. The place is immaculate and beautifully decorated in light nautical colors. The view from the living area and the bedroom is amazing; one can see right across the bay to the mountains beyond. The enclosed braai area also boasts the same beautiful view over the ocean and has sliding windows for ventilation. There is a very spacious well equipped kitchen and the bathroom has new fittings and a wonderful spacious shower. There is a steady constant sea breeze to keep the main living area cool, unfortunately the bedroom only has a small side window for ventilation, the blind on the window needs to be kept down for privacy and to keep out street light and very early morning sunrises, this blocks airflow which causes the room to become overly stuffy and very hot, the blind bangs against the window all night when down as the breeze pushes against it (for this reason I am marking the bedroom down) The bed is however a very comfortable queen size with crisp white linen. There are two single beds in the living area which came in useful when the bedroom was just too hot for sleep. We enjoyed 3 on Rocklands for its simplicity and spaciousness and I cannot imagine a more spectacular view of False Bay.…
