I had not planned to stay at the Upton House, but was referred to this B&B at the last minute for lack of vacancy at another local motel. This was my very first stay at a B&B, as my wife has an undeserved aversion to them, based on preconceived notions, and I happened to be traveling without her, so I... More

This B and B was so clean, nostalgic, comfortable. The hosts, Charlotte and Bob were wonderfully welcoming and friendly. We stayed in the Nautical Room on the second floor. It was beautifully decorated. Our Nephew and his wife stayed in the Native American Room. All of the decor was tasteful and inspiring. The breakfast was much more than the ordinary... More

We stayed this past weekend at the Upton House- a little background: #1 - this was our first ever stay in a B & B #2 - my wife and I traveled with two eight year old relatives Charlotte and Bob, our hosts were great - they were informative of their facility and as the two older of us four... More

The very best of B&B experiences. Charlotte and Bob make you feel welcome as soon as you arrive. The rooms are very large, bright, nicely furnished and squeaky-clean. The views are fantastic. There's also free Wi-Fi, important because Upton, Errol and other nearby communities are located in a cell phone "dead zone". Breakfast is bountiful: Fresh fruit, cereals, local baked... More

A beautifully restored barn with each room tastefully decorated in various themes. Much attention given to detail which overall creates a comfortable and pleasing environment. Rooms are impeccable and spacious. Charlotte and Bob are exquisite hosts; they make you feel welcome within minutes of meeting them. Breakfast is a wonderful experience with fresh produce and local baking. Highly recommend Upton... More

Bob And Charlotte are so nice. Make sure you take time to get to know them. Or you are missing half the fun and beauty if this place. We stayed here one night on our way to Montreal. Hope to stay there again on our way back. Breakfast was a nice selection of fresh fruit and cereals, toast and jellies.... More

We have been here several times now. Love it here. Charlotte and Bob are awesome hosts. You feel right at home when you stay here. Lots to do nearby if you love nature. Each room has slightly different theme. All are very comfy and private. Can't wait until we can return for another visit. Paddle or take pontoon tour of... More

Recently stayed at the Upton House Inn with Bob & Charlotte. They were absolutely delightful. The Inn was spotlessly clean. Each bedroom had a theme and bath. The "common" room was a great place to gather. Breakfast was an assortment of locally grown fruits and homemade breads. Also offered cereals, juice, coffee, teas, yogurts, etc. There's a "local" restaurant one... More

I traveled to the Maine "North Woods" as it's called for a short vacation during the foliage season. There's little here in the way of tourism development, but what a find this pleasant B&B turned out to be. It's a restored farmhouse updated with modern amenities. All but two rooms have their own bathroom. The owners Charlotte and Bob have... More
