What a disaster! We chose this place specifically for the outdoor pool So we could have a few hours of sun! Website said 3 pm check in, we arrived at 3:30 was told no king rooms were Ready it would be about an hour. Went to the pub they recommended - it was nothing more than disgusting food! Went back to hotel in almost 2 hrs - still no rooms! Receptionists said no one told her we were ready to check in and they had overbooked and still didn’t have any rooms ready!!! Their compensation, TWO cocktails at their bar. So disappointing!!!!

We unfortunately had a glitch in our reservation that overbooked your room type and caused the delay in check-in. We have fixed the issue and all is back to normal at this time. My story begins when I called to make reservations. I needed 3 rooms (not facing the pool) for 3 couples. I was told I could hold the rooms with my card and if the 2 other couples called within 24 hours the card info could be changed to their cards. Both couples called within 6 hours of the reservations. Sounded great and easy, but not so much. Our card was charged 4 times all total. Every time we called and thought it was fixed, another charge happened. I left messages (2) for management to call me, but here we are 2-3 weeks later and I still haven’t had a call. So we get to the hotel and 2 of the 3 rooms are on the side of the pool and can’t be changed. Then, our AC apparently only works during the day. We tried to sleep in warm humidity, but couldn’t. Too hot. We called the desk next morning and the sent someone to fix it. Again, worked great during the day. About 10pm, it quit. Called the desk and they sent someone to fix and brought a desk fan. Worked for about 15 minutes and went out again. They showed us how to reset the unit so I turned it off for about an hour thinking that would help in case it’d frozen up. As long as we kept the temp high, it worked. But that meant it wasn’t cooling either. So another night with no sleep. Overall the staff was so nice and accommodating with what they had to work with. The bed was comfortable and the shower was nice.

The Aloft in Bentonville is a nice step up from the other Marriott properties around town. The aloft has modern rooms with good beds, and nice bathrooms with glass enclosed showers. It may not be a luxurious hotel, but there's not really a luxury choice for hotels in NWA, maybe 21C... What shines here is really the service. The bar is always staffed by someone who knows how to make a drink, and there's live music on Wednesdays to make drinking a little more fun. The front desk has some great staff always willing to help out, Allie is by far the best, and makes you feel at home every day! I love calling her in the morning to have her start my breakfast. Mind you the breakfast isn't really that great (it's the aloft rise bowls), but it's nice coming downstairs and Allie just hands me my breakfast and talks about life. The Aloft has great hospitality for being a select service hotel. There's a pool table and a pool, so there's not a lack of things to do in the hotel, and there are things to do nearby, but it's not the best location ever being pretty far from the Walmart home office, fifteen minutes or so. I will keep staying here for sure!

Room was nice and clean. Staff was great. Breakfast is a small continental breakfast. After staying at other Aloft hotels it's about what you would expect from the chain. Nothing spectacular, but a nice place to stay for the price. I'd stay here again if in the area.

We stayed for the weekend. When checking in, I asked the receptionist if she knew of good restaurants with outdoor seating, she said she didn’t. Thank goodness for Yelp! Our room was comfy, but I didn’t care for the frosted glass shower overlooking the bedroom. In the middle of the night when my husband got up & turned the bathroom light on it illuminated the bedroom as well. Another downside to the shower is that the door was lacking appropriate rubbing flashing. There is a 1 cm gap between the door & glass partition resulting in water on the floor. Overtime this will ruin the tile. I’d stay here again; great pricing & comfy bed.
