If you want to beat the crowds to the Treasury first thing in the morning, this is your hotel. There is a lot of walking involved in seeing Petra, so it's a great place to stay to minimise extraneous walking! Given that the only other thing to do in Wadi Musa, besides seeing Petra, is seeing the Petra museum, then this hotel is well placed as the museum is directly across the road! The main atrium of the hotel is delightful. The rooms were average for price. You need to follow a long circuitous route in the bowels of the hotel to find the pool and hammam (but they seem to be all yours once you get there!). Staff at the bar and restaurants weren't particularly friendly. The breakfast bar wasn't anything special. But the hotel was worth staying at for its location.

You can’t beat the location. It’s a short walk to Petra. The rooms are nice and the pool is a great place to cool off. It is worth getting outside of the hotel for meals, as there are many better choices than the hotel buffet in close proximity (and when the tour groups come through things get crowded and the hotel loses any local feel.

This is The hotel to stay when in Petra. Very well located, in front of the main site of Petra, walking distance. The rooms are very good, the restaurants excellent, everything very well decorated. Would definitely recommend and return

- at the reception there were 2 persons, one of them ( a guy with moustach) was just cleaning his nose with his fingers in front of us ! Is this a way to welcome guests ? - old room which need to be renovated - horrible breakfast, flies everywhere, food not covered, poor quality of food. Very low cost profile. - the old man with oily hair tied in the back and dirty black suit, is not welcoming at all in the breakfast area. He is supposed to seat you at the breakfast table, but he does not say good morning and very rude ! He even goes and arranges the breakfast food with his unwashed hands. - food in general is not good, everything we ate was tasteless and very poor quality. The food ordered in room dining was all returned but they never asked us why ! To summarize, this hotel is very handy as it is just outside Petra site, but you can feel that they do no efforts in any area. Very disappointing for a Movenpick hotel !

We stayed for 2 nights in July 2019. There are many positives This hotel was fantastic. We had a lovely, well furnished, clean room. The bathroom was great, shower lovely and warm, everything very clean. The lobby and bar are beautiful, we ate in the bar one afternoon which was very reasonably priced and very tasty. All of the staff were friendly and helpful and very accommodating. The location is absolutely perfect. We could see the entrance to Petra (literally just over the road) from our room window. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.
