I think that the severe downturn in tourism in Jordan has really affected the quality available to guest. Or, maybe the Petra Panorama is just a poor hotel. We were part of a group, so we had buffet meals for dinner and breakfast. The only thing that was positively notable was made to order omelets for breakfast. The other dishes... More

There have to be better places to stay. This was part of a tour group and we had to change hotels about a month ago for some reason. The rooms are adequate. Try to get a room with a balcony as the views are quite nice. The bathroom was relatively clean although clearly the concept of patching and pasting maintenance... More

We had a half board deal set 4 course dinner & buffet breakfast very good responsible selection at buffet The hotel is aways from Historical site but we had a tour so that was no problem Room was a typical hotel room had everything needed with a view so overall we were satisfied Nice shop in foyer Staff weren't not... It says 4 star - not true. Hot water comes and goes.. with mud in it. Rooms are average (yes, with a great view). The food is barely edible - even breakfast struggles! The staff is unhelpful. If you ask for a coffee sachet in your room... you get ONE. Even though you are 2 per room ! It lists... More

Of all of the times for it to rain in Petra, it was when we were there. First we arrived well past sunset and was not able to see the valley of Petra. Then, the fog/rain was so thick in the morning that we still could not see Petra. So we had to believe the staff that there is a... More

Stayed here two weeks ago for one night by default (due to our actual hotel messing up our booking and sending us here). The room was OK - fairly basic, but appeared clean. The bathroom was basic, with very basic toiletries and filthy mirror. When we went down to breakfast at 9am - having arrived at 4.30am and grabbed a... More

We had a nice room though getting about the hotel took a bit of getting used to. The hotel is kind of built upside own. As it is on a hill the reception is at the top with rooms below. Swimming pool was very cold. It is a taxi ride outside of the town so does not allow a chance... More

This hotel was the biggest disappointment during our time in Jordan. To start with the Service. Unfriendly, not professional at all are some of the words I can use. The Hotel. The hotel is run down. Not clean (even for this Country) neither comfortable. The only good thing (if at all) to say is that the room we've had was... More

The Panorama Hotel must have been a massively attractive resort when it was built. The views from all rooms look over the mountains and are sure to inspire. But the facility is dated, though very spacious. Its outside the city, so when you're there, you're not likely to wander the streets to sample local life.

Looks lovely from the outside but one is given a map to get around the rooms with their keys. Highly complicated building on 2 levels with no windows and one keeps getting lost. Not worth staying. Dining room meals and breakfast is of very poor quality. Badly prepared and uncooked chicken at dinner. We hardly ate any dinner. Breakfast was... More
