Stayed at Alanbat while visiting Petra. The customer service was absolutely amazing. They were kind enough to transport us into town for food during Ramadan as well as pick us up later. That night we were treated to an authentic Turkish Bath experience which was incredible and I would definitely recommend it! Overall, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful... More

I stayed overnight at the Alanbat Hotel as part of a 2 day package tour to Petra. The hotel is clean, spacious and fairly modern, with large rooms and good-sized bathrooms (although the towels were very old and need replacing). Many rooms seem to be twin singles, so specify if you require a double-bed room. The main guest areas are... More

Excellent front desk, good English, very kind and open to suggestions. A bit outside of wadi musa ( 5 minutes taxi ride to the entrance of Petra). They have free taxi to the entrance of Petra (they call a guy and he will drive you there). Very good breakfast, typical arab fare with some western pastries and eggs, one of... More

I have been in the hotel 9 days now and will stay for more 30 days, what I like about the hotel that it's very simple and offer a really good services. The staff is so lovely, helpful and friendly. The dinner dishes are diversified tho each 3-4 days you will get the same buffet but I'm totally fine with... More

This hotel had spectacular views of Petra/Wadi Musa. The rooms were clean and well equipped. The food was acceptable, but not spectacular. But the staff was the real highlight. They were very courteous and helped us sort out the many issues that we had with the company that organized the tour. I would recommend staying here.

The Alanbat 1 is a large, scenic hotel ... very clean and spacious. Rooms are large, beds are comfortable. The customer service, though, really sets the hotel apart from the competition. Jolene and her husband were so kind and accommodating. They served us a plentiful and gorgeous Easter lunch of hummus and baba ganoush in one of the hotel's comfortable... More

Very friendly staff and comfortable rooms made our stay really nice! We had a balcony facing the canyon and two really nice twin beds in our room. The dinner and breakfast buffets were both well appointed and delicious (e.g. lamb, peas, carrots, dessert for dinner). Note about the buffet: drinks at dinner are all on top of the buffet cost,... After a long and fabulous day of touring Petra I checked into this beautiful hotel "solo" as the rest of my group were only on a one day tour and they headed back to Israel. The room was perfect for one person and was very clean and had a beautiful Middle Eastern motif and a very modern bathroom. I had... More

Stayed one night to be able to go to Petra by night experience. Very friendly and helpful reception staff. The hotel was empty and bit on the chilly side, but understandable with the lack of guests and the recent cold weather in Wadi Musa. Big rooms with a good bathroom. Plenty of hot water. Very comfortable beds for a good... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
What began as a name for the masters of the caravans more than 2000 years ago has grown into one of the best and most provisional hotel investments in Petra Region. "Alanbat" is the Arabic name of the Nabataeans, the people who carved Petra, early CBC. Settled in southern Jordan 500 BC, they were expert in water planning & carving. Alanbat Hotels Company was founded in the early 80s by Raja O. Alnawafleh and Brothers. As young men we developed a big area and a small building for a campsite and a hotel. We were the first family of local people of Wadi Mousa Town to invest in hotels company and services. We as hotel management have got more than 30 years of experience. Services start with average capacity of 20 poxes; nowadays we have three hotels: Alanbat I (our main location), Alanbat II and Alanbat III. All the new services have been done on our main location to make your visit to Petra and your stay at our hotels amazing and pleasurable. Alanbat hotels can provide you with experienced assistance in getting the most out of your visit to Petra. Our staffs are ready to help you in the soul of Jordanian hospitality. ... more   less
