This hotel is not luxury. If that's what you want, walk down the road to the Movenpick and pay double the price. If you want a clean room, a decent meal and a pleasant bar within easy walking distance of the entrance to Petra, this would be hard to beat. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and although the... More

We stayed at the Petra Palace during our visit to Petra. We were a group of 50. The dinner was decent, the fish was too salty. Desserts were nice. Seems to be a very old hotel as is evident by the door and air conditioner controls, but serves the purpose. Wifi is available only in the lobby. We didnt have... More

we stayed in the Petra palace hotel for three nights as part of our guided Tour through Jordan and Israel. The room was spacious and not very clean. In the corner at the bathroom were mold and the toilet flushing are not working. The stuff were friendly and a mix of continental and local breakfast as well as dinner was... More

We stayed at the Petra Palace Hotel in May 2016. The property is surprisingly large after seeing it from the street. The reception area is clean, spacious, and staffed with friendly people. It's also the only place on the property that has wifi (grrr). The rooms are accessed by going toward the rear of the property and up an elevator.... More

We chose this hotel based on the low price and proximity to petra. The rooms are very tired but we got a decent nights sleep. Room was very quiet facing the pool courtyard. Breakfast was just ok, we could have done with more than instant coffee for the early mornings! Pool had a lot of dead insects floating in one... More

We stayed here as part of a tour for only 1 night before moving on. We had a large room which was wonderful, but the decor was tired & uncared for. The breakfast buffet was ok, but nothing to cheer about. I think the biggest inconvenience was only having wifi in the lobby... In general the whole hotel including tge... More

I was travelling alone. The staff were wonderful, friendly and helpful. They have a caring sense and I loved the chef's sense of humour. A lovely lady at the front desk helped me find my way around town. Nice atmosphere and I like the sense of antiquity. That's what Petra is all about. Short walk to the ancient Rose City.... More

We were shocked that the room we were offered looked nothing like the photos advertised online. We refused to stay even though we were not given a full refund. The room and even the bedding was very old and stained. Decor was terrible and the lights were too bright. It would have been too depressing. We stayed at Petra Moon... More

The only plus of Petra palace hotel is its location. Everything else is below than average. Economy breakfast, similar to hostel style. Room furniture is very old. Carpets everywhere. No any amenities in bathroom. No any amenities in bed room, no water, no minibar, no glasses, no pin or paper, nothing... even a plug you need to use the one... More

The location is good, 200 metres from Petra site entrance. The size of the room is also ok but that's it for the positive comments. The carpet in the corridor has to be changed and there is no electricity plug in the room which is more than annoying to charge camera, I-Pad or mobile phone. The mini bar is empty... More
