Petra is an ancient city that once was considered to be a myth, hidden for centuries from prying eyes. The Petra Marriott Hotel is conveniently located on a steep sloping site overlooking the dramatic and picturesque Petra Valley. Concealed within the quite magnificent mountains in the red rose desert, Petra is one of Jordan’s national treasures and by far its best known tourist attraction. Petra, the world wonder, is a magnificent city and there is nothing in the world resembles it. Although much has been written about Petra, nothing really prepares you for this amazing place. It has to be seen to be believed.

Stayed at this hotel for two days. Located out side Petra, I think some services need to be improved. Especially, service at the breakfast, waiters need to be more attentive and professional. The quality’ of food at the Hala Hala Restaurant is very ordinary not at the level of

We stayed here for one night when visiting Petra. Our room was spotless and the bathroom was great. The location really is perfect for visiting Petra - it’s about 10 minutes away by taxi (or there is a shuttle bus). The reason I’ve given 4 stars is we ordered room service

The swimming pool is most probably open. We visited in December and my crazy daughter took a swim in it though she was freezing therefore there is no reason why I cant see it being open during November.
