So when you come to Petra, clearly your out all day doing Wadi rum or Petra, so if your looking for a quiet night in, then this is the hotel for you! Its comfortable, the rooms are fine, the view is great, however i think the staff at this hotel dont know how to smile or are seriously depressed! We... More

we booked this hotel because of the 5 star status and the brand name. But the hotel could not live up to the Marriott name. With all fairness I must mention that upon arrival in the evening we received an upgrade to a mountain facing room, probably due to the low occupancy of the hotel at the time. The in-room... More

I have spent almost 3,000 nights in Marriott Properties around the world and this one fits in the lower category. As stated in other reviews, it is outside the city centre of Petra and a bit far from the attraction itself. Fortunately we had a car, so the location was not a big issue. We were there in late January... More

the hotel is quite off track from petra and there is no transportation. the hotel is generally run down, and looks old and a bit shady from inside. not a great place to spend time, but given that the traveler typically would spend the day in Petra, is not that imporatnt. The biggest issue is indeed the location. Great views... More

We visited Petra during a 5 days trip around Jordan. We chose this because I am a Marriott guy. As we arrived it seemed nice. The security outside keeps any of the riffraff from the city struggles out of the parking lot. I got checked in pretty quickly and got upgraded to a room with a view of the valley.... More

Dear Guest, One of our key priorities is to provide the highest level of friendly and courteous service. I really loved this hotel because it's away from the bustle of the entrance to Petra grounds, and instead up on a cliff about a 5 min drive to the entrance, with amazing views over Petra and the mountains/valley. The views from the rooms in the back of the hotel face out towards the mountains. The view from the pool... More

We stayed in this hotel for a night. We were two friends with a small child. The hotel is on the way to Petra and offers unique views of the valley. It is not walking distance to the ancient city, but that is compensated by its views and calming atmosphere. The hotel seems to be well-run and maintained. The small... More

Great place to stay to visit Petra. It's not the closest hotel, but it's clean, relatively quiet with friendly, accommodating staff. The free wifi is good and parking is free and easy. The only reason for four stars and not five is the disappointment with their Turkish Bath. Everything else was great!

Great hotel - kind staff & service. The restaurant manager and bartender were incredibly kind to us. There is clearly a significant drop in tourists in Jordan right now. The hotel mainly catered to bus tours. The bar tender recognized we weren't part of the tour and made sure we still received great service - clearing an extra table for... More

It is a nice hotel with a very beautiful apanoramic view of mountains of Petra It is about 10 minutes in car to the site of petra. There aren't any shops around, but you can spend some time in steam bath of the hotel, it is free. We eat very good at this hotel.
