This a nice budget hotel situated within about a 7 minute walk of the Petra visitor centre. There is parking across the road. The rooms are quite small but adequate. Bed comfortable. Nice bathroom and bedding is good. The bad side is the food. Quite the worst I have had anywhere in my memory. Breakfast buffet is terrible, apart from the omelette chef who will cook you something fresh, and he is not thre all the time. The rest is stale, gloop left out for a long time. Tea is stewed and coffee tastes awful, like its been burnt. Dinner is even worse. Absolutely stewed stuff, dry overcooked tough chicken, some grey beef thing, cold potatoes.... all quite inedible. Beyond belieft. The trouble is that many touring parties come through for one night so the hotel doesnt have to do more as no one is going to be around a lot to complain. Stay here but dont eat here. There are plenty of places just round the corner.

I stayed in this hotel as part of a tour in Jordan and couldn't have been happier about it. A short walk from the ruins at Petra, the rooms were comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and service was great.

We are staying here for two nights, the staff are friendly & the rooms are adequate. The location of the hotel near to the visitors centre is very good. However, the dinner buffet was possibly the worst I’ve had anywhere on the planet & I’ve been to more than a few dodgy places. The soup which was badged as vegetable I only managed one spoonful, it was thin & tasteless dishwater, truly disgusting. Things didn’t get any better with the main courses. I saw one woman bring back her piece of chicken & return it to the serving dish, another diner asked her what she was doing “putting it back because it was cold”, needless to say I didn’t have chicken. Settled on some pasta which was at least hot but the tomato sauce was very thin. Desert choices were very limited so had a piece of lemon sponge cake, not much you can do to ruin that. Best bit of the meal was a Diet Coke straight from the can. Really this buffet is letting down the whole hotel

We stayed here for two nights whilst visiting Jordan. the location is ideal as it is only a five minute walk to the visitors centre. the hotel has a car park across the road if you are self driving. We had a top floor room with views across towards the hills (and Movenpick!). They called this the ‘ honey moon suit’. Spacious comfortable room, and large bathroom. Very clean. Tea and coffee making facilities. Buffet Breakfast was served in the dinning room which had large windows with views. an omelette station where you could have yours cooked to order. We ate here one evening. The buffet was varied and the chef talked through the dishes and the various salads and dips- sharing his recipe for one of the spicy dips! A comfortable reception area to sit and relax as well as a rooftop cafe with terrace and views. Yes there is building work going on around the area, but that is expected as Petra is developing as a tourist destination. We were not disturbed by noise from the work, despite one of the builds only feet away from the hotel. ( this will distract from the view for some rooms in the future). Highly recommend this hotel, staff are friendly and helpful.
