If you are looking for a great hotel with comfortable beds and great food come here. The entrance to Petra is just behind this hotel a 5 min walk. We walked through Petra for 4 hours and then checked in.For a fee the hotel prepared a Bedouin dish called maclooba with chicken and lamb. It was a great meal after a long walk. The tabuli and fresh salad was one of the best ones I had while in Jordan! The room was clean and very spacious. The hotel has free parking in the front. There is a free Arabic style breakfast in the morning which you need if you want to walk around Petra. The hotel staff was very welcoming and accommodating. A special thanks to Ramzi Amarat, he was knowledgeable about the area and helped us navigate and see Petra in a different way. Overall, if your looking for good service and a comfortable bed after walking all day, you should stay here.

Stayed at this hotel while visiting Petra and we weren't disappointed with our choice. A nice, very clean and looked after hotel, very close to the entrance to Petra. The staff was very friendly, helpful and kind. There is free private hotel parking for your car. I really recommend staying here!

For one night I stayed in the Petra Aretas Hotel with my parents. There is a warm welcome with a drink and after they will show you the nice hotelroom. It is clean and the room was very nice. It was a very good bed, the best I had enduring my time in Jordan ;-). The staff is very kind and they take the time for your questions. The breakfast was really good and Petra is just a five minute walk!

If you want to visit Petra and just walk off your hotel, then this would be your choice. A fairly new hotel that lies only 700m from the entrance to Petra, offers nice and big rooms with great beds. The staff was amazing and helpful. The only downside was the bathroom and the shower curtain, which is placed way to close to the wall, so during showering the curtain sticks to your body the whole time. There's an AC in the room for heating, but it heats up only the upper part of the room. Windows are not really isolating, so you can feel the cold coming through all around them. Breakfast was good and diverse.
