The obvious answer as to why I stayed there was the location, but tbh taxis are so cheap u could stay anywhere in Wadi Musa I'm currently still here at the hotel as I bought the 3 day pass, which included my entry visa or vice versa. Either way a very handy thing in buying the Jordan Pass Staff are helpful, especially Abood in the Cave Bar who runs the room service too. Many thanks and well done to him The breakfast staff are efficient and helpful. Talking of breakfast. They have all the usual buffet style meats and cheeses, with lots of dips, including the usual cereal, although no muesli. The breads are fresh but pastries very tasteless. The other annoying thing about the hot option. It's very lukewarm and I was down at 0600🤷♂️. In its defence that the omellete station prepared very tasty fillings along with crepes I never ate in the restaurant so I can't comment but it was always very busy. Mind u, you really don't want to get a taxi elsewhere The room was ok, but no slippers or dressing gown as advertised, although I could have asked if I was that bothered. Things were stocked up in the bathroom daily, but I think the hoover must hand been broken as there was always debris from the previous day when it was 'cleaned'. The phone too were very dusty if I'm being picky and annoyingly my key card didn't work on two separate days, although someone came quickly when I used the communal phone to tell them the issue The only issue I have with the room planning...why put a plug socket behind ur head. See attached pic Overall would I recommend? Yes If you're looking for a fab taxi firm who can organise not only local schedules to local attractions, Omar, also has connections in Amman too. So email me at Mattalansharp@gmail.com for more detailed info. And no. I don't get a commission. It's just helping local workers, esp post Covid…
At the moment of arrival the reception gentleman ghazi was very welcoming, friendly and polite. The early check in was smooth and fast, breakfast was above expectations, the cave bar was on point! Little pricey but seriously IT WORTH ! There was no plans in the next day but thanks to ghazi for recommending me about things to do, attraction points, places to take photos, and finally helped me to get back to the airport, Thanks again dear, you made my trip better
Very good experiance in my 3 weeks hotel stay, the crew was amazing from Abood, Ziyad, Omar...., the room was clean and comfortable, the only proplem i faced was there is no electric car charger, i hope that change in the future.
We were hosted by a very nice and welcoming guy named Hashem. He was so caring and showed high professionalism and hospitality that made our experience even more enjoyable and appreciative. Everything was lovely especially the location right next to the entrance. for sure will come back again in the near future.
All staff is very friendly especially Hashem and Hamza are very kind. During our staying they were always guiding us for our all Petra trip. If you go there, surely you should find them.. In addition You can enjoy Aleo Vera restaurant in the hotel..
My group of 45 stayed at Petra Guest House for two nights. Everything was absolutely wonderful. Great staff. Great breakfast and we enjoyed dinner twice (once, outside). The cave bar is really fabulous as well. Great drinks, great service. And, as others have noted, the location, right at the entrance of Petra could not be better.
We stayed here for 2 nights and can recommend this hotel to everyone with main focus to visit petra, especially, if you want to visit Petra for more then just a couple of hours. The location is more then perfect, it is literally right beside the entrance to Petra historical site. Even the visitor center is further away. If you have a two day ticket, you can get up early on the second day and walk into Petra as soon as 6 am, were the ticketing counters in the visitor center are not yet open. you can walk to the treasury and have it all to yourself. The hotel features a bar, which is a magical place, at it is acutally located in a 2600 year old nabatean tomb. This bar, the location and the super friendy service are the points, that really made the Guest house a highlight on our trip. The rooms are quiet and clean, but somewhat outdated, could need some renovation. But we just used it to sleep and take showers, the rest of your time you want to spend in the archeological site anyway. Food at the bar was good (not great), but on the second day there was a BBQ buffet offering great food for a fair price. If you come to Wadi Musa, of course there is a big choice of Hotels, but you will soon see, that some of them are quite far from the visitor center and the roads to go anywhere are always quite steep, it is not easy to walk arround in the city, so the location really makes a difference.…
Very average hotel , well over priced for what you can get in Petra . Close to the main entrance for a visit to Petra but that’s where it ends . Poor service , Poor TV reception, Poor communication from the receptionists . It’s low season but this is no excuse for poor service . Would not recommend - Many more great hotels in Petra to stay any .
Visit the Cave Bar for a chilled drink. Service by Salah was excellent. Rooms are 5 star. Professional staff. Great atmosphere. Right next to the entrance to the site behind the visitor centre. Would recommend
